Hey, my era... No time to post now, but I will have to soon.

And Sgt. Pepper lives in an Octopus' Garden, a Yellow Submarine, or some other place where he need to be Fixing a Hole.

Where did this feller come from? If ya don't mind me asking? The Escanaba and Lake Superior had some like that, and they would go good with my collection of ELS stuff........Thanx

Click on the links(from another place on here). It includes some other trains too, apart from sharknose (:udrool: ) locomotives. I don't think there is any from ELS in there though.

WIP South Eastern USA freelanced route... I will eventually get some of it further to the north.

Old man Crenshaw's place. The neighbors don't like him, the police don't like him, his mama never liked him, but ole Skippy does. And whatever he is burning in there sure smells good to the little fella.

His closest neighbors place, 1/2 mile away...

Railfanning father and son. I have been using these guys since I first saw them around the Clovis Sub...

And some other randomness...

"Noone should have to see the little creature" (Ugh Crenshaw.)

Anyway, this thread is relative to my interests. I will have to get some screens for it then.

Ha! Who is that? Kind of looks like the guy in my pic too.

Yeah, Alex this is right up your alley. Welcome home.

Good call on this thread, Ronayne. Thanks. By the way, is it just Ron?

Edit: Sorry... Thanks, Chris.

Mystery Science Theater 3000: Boggy Creek Creature II.

That's Crenshaw. I wish that I could find a better picture of him. Just place that head on a greasy, fat guy, wearing nothing but a pair of bib overalls, with one strap undone.

Heres some screenshots of a route somewhat smaller than the one the first screenshots here were taken on...

I usually turn my 1950's screenshots to black & white, but the program I use to do that has stopped working.

Chris,

Are there anyone's shots you have seen that resemble Kodachrome? I know what the film is, I'm just not sure of the effect you want.

A little more of my freelanced WIP route. I don't know if this is Kodachrome-ish, Alex, but if it is it's easy. These are just slightly tweaked with Irfanview. A little plus on the contrast and saturation, and 2 doses of sharpness.

Skippy runs off when old Crenshaw is out drinking, but he feels at home any where there is derelict crap laying around. What happened to those nice folks at the DLS where Crenshaw found him? Hehehehe....

Cool black & white shots. I guess some of us view it as if actually being in the old days, while others view it from an old photograph perspective. I can dig it.
