Upload issues, are they still there?

Are the delays in approvals when uploading content still ongoing? Or has the backlog been cleared?

As I have in a few days some content I would like to upload to get it approved before Xmas. Thank you for any news.

Cheers

G'day VinnyBarb,

How you going these days?.
I'm back on track after two heart valves were repaired back in September.
What with the guv mint slash backs, they only had replacement bicycle tube valves, so's I was lucky they could fix mine!. :D

Looking forward to what you are uploading, hopefully all will upload 'sooner' than "soon". :hehe:
(I'm sure you understand).

A question good sir:-
Do you run Trainz in the root C: directory, or have you created a separate partition into which you have installed it?.
I have separate partitions on my PC; for TRS2004 & TS2012 & TS2010.
TRS2004 runs fine of course, but for over three years I have failed to get the others to run properly. Even when 'default' installed into the C: 'program' folders.

However I have succesfully installed TS2010 onto my Lenovo laptop; in default 'programs (x64)' location.
But at present am having corruption problems when downloading the recently-uploaded DHR route (Darjeeling Himalayan Railways), & have several items show up as missing.
I have partitioned off 300Gb, so am running on less than 200 Gb, so will create a new 150Gb TS2010 partition & re-install TS2010 there, then do a fresh download of just the DHR stuff there; to see if that helps?.
Bill "HiBaller" has been assisting me on this woe, as also 'walkabout Peter' (in your kneck-of-woodland), & other forumz onlookerz.:) :-

Hi Noel, well, there is a blast from the immediate past :hehe:.

I have a big, huge, enormous, humungous upload to the DLS in the next few days, hence my query re uploads, as I did not want you unruly lot missing out on my Christmas presents to you Oz members (and also others interested in Oz's mighty machinery on Oz rails), always asking for more (didn't someone just say: YOU WANT MORE?). You know how it is with Xmas presents, you should not know what you will get until you get them :p.

Hence I will not tell you. You just gotta wait.

Re running Trainz, I am running several versions of the same Trainz versions in different partitions and/or on different hard disks, NOT on C/: where Windows resides, and I have no problems running any of them. You might very well ask, why different versions even of the same Trainz, well, I have a clean TS09, clean TS10 and a clean TS12 plus other versions of these as well in the same PC. The clean versions of Trainz are for testing my creations (for fast and easy loading) and the others are for driving, building etc.

I just bought myself an Acer i7, 650 GB HD, 17.3" screen, Win7 64 bit OS, Laptop too for when I am not at home, to take my Trainz and my creating (3DS Max) with me. My Xmas present to myself :hehe:. I have an external 1 TB 2.5" HD for the Acer and I have a suspicion I should be able to run Trainz from that external HD too.

Good to hear you got successfully "resurrected" and "refurbished", I hope all is now well with you and you can chase any barmaids, any young vixens, whatever, without running out of puff :hehe:.

Cheers

Herbert
