A recent win 11 update appeared to give some SSDs problems. One of the things identified was Microsoft had tested the SSDs but with the latest SSD firmware. If your SSD is Crucial or Samsung they have software that will manage an SSD and update the firmware on their own brand if required. It might be worth doing. I had a Samsung T5 that needed updating and a Crucial internal drive I'd forgotten I had that need updating. Fortunately my external Crucial drives were fine.
I understand Sandisk and WD also have a tool for updating SSD firmware.
