Update Help Please

Can anyone help me update Trainz 2010. When i click the icon to play, it tells me a patch needs to be downloaded. The download patch downloads, but then when it needs to do the update it says this cannot be run and doesnt complete.

I have tried clicking on where it says "your copy is out of date, please try forums" but this only opens a "about:blank" page and doesnt let anything download.

I have also tried the content updates, but the page either doesnt load, or when it does, does not let me complete any downloads.

Can anyone help??

What build is shown at the bottom of your Launcher screen? (Bottom-right corner to be exact)

THe build number is - 42203

There is a manual patch that will help you get to at least build 44088.

The patch you will require is http://download.ts2009.com/patch/42203_to_44088.exe.

Once that patch is done, there is one or two more, but that can be dealt with once that patch is done.

It depends whether you want the multiplayer beta or not.

Be aware that installing the Multiplayer Beta patches will disable compatibility mode, so is not recommended if you have faulty content that you are using.

If you intend to use Multiplayer, you will probably need a decent internet connection.

Be aware that if you change your mind you will need to completely reinstall and re-patch the game.

Note that you cannot install the Multiplayer beta patches, then the Non-multiplayer beta patch or vice-versa. The two routes are mutually exclusive.

Multiplayer Beta patches

Read the page carefully before installing. This will take you to build 46170.

Second patch: http://download.ts2009.com/patch/46170_to_49938.exe

Non Multiplayer Beta patches

First (and only) patch: http://download.ts2009.com/patch/44088_to_49933.exe
