Just a little something I have been experimenting on whilst learning some new techniques for the RS-18U I am working on...

This is what has resulted from working on the Protrainz AC4400CWs....

First shot:

JR couplers and MU hoses, re-colored SPORBUST bogeys, lowered the body, and various tweaks to the artwork.... and as can be seen in the next 2 pics...

I got the ditch lights to work....

Yep, I know the cab side numbers look bad, I am considering ARN for them...

Now, If I could get a hold of Mark Hoffman, others could have these when I am done.... the regular AC4400CWs will also be done....

Hmmm, I might have to turn this into another "Modding with Hack" article....

I have found a way to EASILY change the a.limfront, a.limback, a.bog0, a.bog1 of a model without having to "Break" into the .IM file.

It seems that the program reads in the first instance of these points and then ignores any following entries............Also this info was corroborated by NS37

What would happen if you made an attachment mesh (a mesh that you can EASILY change entries on) for a model with a set of coordinates for these 4 points that you want, then you re arranged the config so that the attachment mesh was listed BEFORE the .IM file?

The config would go like this:

ARN mesh (If present)

attachment mesh

model .im file.

I see the lights just went on........

EDIT ADDITIONAL:

I too wanted to use the JR GE hiads, but the over all rule for my older content redos is "Use free ware only". That way everyone can partake.
