Unwanted Extra track trainz 2009

Hi all in Trainz land.

I have a problem, when I download a route from the DLS I get auran 2009 track all over the layout. In Simplicity Trams Modern, I had a border of unwanted track, and so much more unwanted track that it was impossible to see what was the layout track and what was unwanted. The some thing happened when I down loaded the route from Crainlarich to Fort William, so much extra unwanted track running alongside the main track.
Anyone else had this problem and can anyone suggest a way to stop this. I download using CM2.

This maybe an undocumented "feature". The only way to stop it, is to use compatiblity mode, but I guess that is not what you want to do. It seems to stem from the assets made in SP3/UTC, which I don't think Auran considered that they don't need to worry about scenery objects for SP3/UTC (which seems to be replaced with track), it is only the trains you have to worry about, because of their mesh type (*.pm rather than *.im).

That is just Trainz' way of showing you where unknown splines are. When a route contains spline objects that you don't have locally, it replaces them with the new Auran track. Once you download the missing objects, you can easily replace them in Surveyor.

Thanks both for your replies. I have downloaded all assests on Simplicity trams modern and the extra ttack has gone.
