Unusual colors appearing in TS2010 routes

Im getting unusual, bright colours taking the place of track, textures, buildings, vehicles. They are covering certain objects and not others in all routes. Im running windows 8.1 with a good graphics card. I have TS2010 with all patches up to date.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Without seeing a screenshot, I will only be able to make a guess on what's happened. If you want to upload a screenshot, bear in mind that it will need to be uploaded to a photo-sharing site first before you can get the relevant link to post here (unless you can get the Manage Attachments feature to work if it's available to you).

Thank you Shane and Fran1 for responding so quickly. This indeed was the problem and although it took a while to open assets and commit them it fixed the graphics.
