The fun thing about this story is, I remember this. I was in one of the larger towns it was expected to derail in, as my town/city has a large S curve. The trains rarely reach 30, and it is all through maybe 1/4 a mile out of downtown. Side note, the actual route, the Toledo Sub division, is the one I am working on in trainz!

I saw the movie some time ago and read a little into the real story, but that really puts it into perspective. Good find.

I have seen video's of that same runaway train on youtube, Then I saw the movie and it was just like that same story.
Really intense.
