Hello everybody.... I have been working with this downloaded version 2009.... most recently I was editing drivers commands in the survey mode.... even with the uncoupling checkmark in the driver command menu.... uncoupling will not show up for the driver commands..

Just wondering.... is it my inadequate download??..... a glitch in the 2009 program??.... my slow computer??.... I'm talking about the commands that you save in the survey mode....thx Bruce eh

I don't know if Smileyman's commands work in 2009, but they were superior to the built in uncouple commands.

Hi BRUCE_B,

The uncouple command works for me and so does smileman's uncouplez command. One thing I did notice, a passenger train will load immediately it couples if you do a runaround with the coaches at a station.
Another thing, there is no provision for adding a command to the list of driver commands available, so I guess it must list all the commands you have in the program.

Some of the Uncoupled type commands don't actually appear in surveyor. This was by design for them from memory.

I would hazard a guess that this is to do with Trainz not knowing the consist build up until it's in driver. The other uncouple commands just tell it to uncouple from vehicle number 5 in the consist, so it doesn't actually need to know what each vehicle is. At least this is what I came up with.

As has already been said, there are other driver commands out there as well.

Am I misreading you Bill, because there is a way of adding commands.

Hi Chris,

No I am wrong this time. I was one step ahead of where I should have been when trying to add available commands.

Bill,

I was half way thru a reply when I saw your second post. Good to know you were one step ahead - better than one step behind!

Cheers
