Unable to place track objects

All of a sudden I am unable to place or move any track objects at all in surveyor, but I can remove them.
It happens over a night, yesterday it works, but when I starded the game this morning it does not work.
I did not use the computer after I closed TANE yesterday and start it today.
I have run both a normal database rebuild and an extended dito several times without success.

Does anyone have a clue about what might have happened, or better, a solution to the problem ??

Erik,

Something similar happened to me several months ago, but I found I had accidentally clicked on 'Route Layers' and locked it up.

Have you checked to see if any of your route or session layers are in the locked position?

Good luck,
Roy

Thanks for the answer Roy, but that was not the fault.

I should also mention that I have tried to place track objects in both built-in routes and my own routes, and on all kind of tracks with the same result all the time, it does not work.

And I have not installed any new tracks, or track objects for over a mounth ago, also, I have no faulty assets, and nothing is open for edit.

Erik.

There's a fix:

Open your track for edit in content manager.

Wait a minute.

Submit the track.

Your track objects will work.

With built-in you can only revert unfortunately. If you revert the other track, it won't work; you have to submit.

I reported this to N3V awhile ago. Hopefully the issue has been fixed in HF1. It's one of those things which happens intermittently so it's difficult to know if it's been fixed or not.

John, you just saved my day, everything is back to normal again, even the built-in tracks started working again without having done anything with them.

BIG THANKS:Y:.
