Ultra Realistic Switchers

Still plays with Trainz
After months of posting questions, experimenting with this, experimenting with that, testing and retesting, I believe I have created an ultra realistic asset. My creations consist of yard switchers that have a brakeman or foreman (I use Neoklai or Lotharhake figures) riding on a lower step of a front or rear patform. That may not appear spectaular but when these yard switchers come to a complete stop at a switch (turnout) the rail workers dismount, move to the rear of the switch stand, wait until the switch is relined and then remount the engine before it moves ahead or back. My attemtps to provide video of these operations were totally unsuccessful but I have posted some screenshots in the Screenshot section that picture the idea. The yard switchers will be available on the DLS April 1.

Yet another April Fools Day joke? I looked at the screens in the other thread and have concluded I could make the same. If you really have made a model where the brake man can automatically disembark the engine, then you've done wonders.

AWESOME!!! This is exactly the kind of detailed content I need for the route I’m planning – the entire ATSF mainline from Dearborn to LA as it existed on June 23, 1950. Would you please reskin the loco in the Santa Fe “Zebra” paint scheme. You can find pictures of the prototype, as well as a list of the other switchers and road switchers I’ll need, on the internet (search on stultus aprilis). Thanks in advance.
