UK Xmas Steam 1960s Night Session Automatic

Despite being an 'oldie' this is my first post, so a kind person's help would be much appreciated regarding how I can get this session running. It worked fine previously, but since installing a new HDD, all my Trainz software (TS2009, 2010 & 2012, plus Add-ons), downloading all the relevant sessions, plus checking and downloading all missing Dependencies via Content Manager, but the UK Xmas Steam 1960s Night Session no longer runs as previously. (I'm running Win7 Ultimate 64-bit OS via an i7 CPU and 8GB RAM)
Although a few missing Dependencies appear minor in nature, e.g. <kuid2:44090:1016:13>, <kuid2:44090:15067:11>, I rechecked the Auran website Download Station for other more vital components, but to no avail.
As I promised to show my grand-kids 'how it was in my day' I'd be most grateful for someone's help in suggesting what I may have missed in getting the session to run. Thank you.

Thank you for your reply and Link.

The following is from the CM:

"Error: Dependency <kuid2:44090:15067:11> is unknown".

"Error: Dependency <kuid2:44090:1016:13> is unknown".

"Warning: This asset uses an obsolete trainz-build number. Trainz-build numbers below 2.7 are no longer supported".

When starting the session it shows a 'bug' which states: "Script Exceptions". This is new to me...

It previously ran perfectly okay in TS2009 on the same OS with virtually identical hardware. All I've done is install a new HDD!

Hi SteamSeeker,

You can disregard the warnings since that does not matter. The missing assets (dependencies) will disappear once those are added in. The script I'm not so sure about how to fix that. This could be content-related which I've seen before. Perhaps if you can click on the bug and read what the error says. You can actually print-screen this and post a copy on the forum. (See how to do this because a screen capture won't paste).

The reason why the errors now show, but are ignored by TRS2009, is that TS12 is more picky regarding errors. This extra pickieness helps the simulation run smoother because instead of ignoring errors, the program will reject the content right away. If the errors are ignored and the program continues, this can cause lots of stutters, bad performance, and even crashes which happened a lot in the older versions.

If this still occurs after downloading the missing assets then look at the bug windows to see which script is causing the problem. Once you have identified the script then go into CM and if you can find it try "Open for Edit" and then "Revert" (or maybe "Commit"), sometimes just "View errors and warnings" on the script will do the trick. Might be worth doing the same with the session asset, and if none of this works try a Database Repair. I'm assuming you are now running this in TS12 which I don't yet have so I can't check this out for you.

Good luck !

Before posting here I'd previously downloaded all missing assets available via CM, and then ran an extended database repair. As first mentioned I'd reinstalled TS2009 (plus TS2010 and TS2012) and then UK Xmas Steam 1960s in TS2009 and also TS2012 (to see how it ran in both), but the same errors occur in both versions.

Maybe that's my mistake, and perhaps should have only reinstalled TS2009 plus the sessions I wanted? Then reinstalled 2010 and 2012. What would you advise?
I've done a 'screen-dump' of one error and will upload all when time permits, but unfortunately I have to work now.

BTW - Although I now live in Western Australia most of my family come from Cambridgeshire (Cambridge and Fen Drayton).

UPDATE 28/7/2012: I've uninstalled all 3 (2009, 2010 & 2012), and just reinstalled TS2009, plus each of UK Xmas Steam 1960s routes and sessions as they were originally (when they ran okay). However, I'm still getting the following Script Error, which is repeated in each session:

"Successfully opened 'UK Xrnas Steam 1960s automatic session' for edit. The script file for 'UK Xmas Steam 1960s automatic session' could not be found, Unable to edit.

(I tried uploading the screen-prints taken but when I try 'Insert Image' via the above it only shows the image address)

I've downloaded all available Dependencies via CM, and run an Extended Database Repair.

A kind person's help would be much appreciated. Thank you

Bruce
