UK Signalling Spacing Distances Table

Building the Wisbech line
Hi everyone..

I have managed to source this valuable information that should help those people on these forums who are building UK routes. Distance spacing (in metres), according to both the inital speed (Mph) and gradient, is how far apart one signal is to the next signal on the same block section of track. Although this table is specifically meant just for main lines and branch lines in the UK only, it can also be used for Trainz route creators building their own railways based on either UK railways or world-wide railways.

You're welcome, Ray.

I can now re-position all my signals into their correct distance spacings on both my 40mph and 25mph sections of track. I had to really search around the internet as I was determined to try and get as much signal info as I could, not just to help me properly build my layout, but to also help other Trainz route creators.

I have been looking for similar information for a while. Good find fen_tiger.

This has got to be made a sticky for future reference.
