Is the ACS system capable of differentiating between a dellner or shackle coupling .
You have to remember that the coupling on the Pendolino is not set up with ACS or Bluestar .

Easier to set it up the same way as what Snowsignal used and have a pop up box in driver mode where you can select either couplings and raise them or lower them when you need . It's no different to what a 57/3 driver has to do in real life .

That's along the lines of what I was thinking Dave, set up a coupling mode similar to the lampmode function. Hopefully I can get it to disable couplestar when the Dellner deploys. As you say that way the 57 is still compatible with all the other 47 and 57 assets out there.

Anyone reskinning the 222 as a Voyager to complete the set

Hey guys,

Need to let you know that my Trainz website will be closing down on 31st January 2012 (2 days). And I may be quitting the Trainz stuff for a while. I'm tied up with my mates game, after he wants me to create the maps and people and weapons for it.

You can say no if you don't want to do it. Although some skills are transferable between what you are doing in your mates game and trainz.

Then I have my GCSE work to handle. And im into the Virus business.

Ill still be on here because up to now things arent shaping up to the above.

Yup it can tell the difference between the different couplers. In the config.txt of the loco it would look something like this.

		front {
			coupler				"dellner|hook"
			gangway				"none"
			airbraketype			"none"
			airbrakeside			"none"
			vacbrake			"none"
			multiple-working		"none"
			heating-type			"none"
			rch				"none"
		}

You would just need to also fill in the correct air brake and heating type for loco hauled stock, for the dellner all the air brake pipes and the like could be contained on the animation. Of course it would also need setting up in the ACS script but I don't think that would be to hard (he says).

I did this sometime ago now. I couldn't get the number style quite right on the front bufferbeam and the lining on the cab front is simplified, both due to how skipper1945 mapped his original textures which I can't alter in a reskin.
