Hi all,
Just one from me tonight. South West Trains Class 170 Turbostar heads the 12:30 semi-fast service from London Waterloo to Weymouth. Before anyone asks, this is not the South Western Mainline, but based on it. I just decided to use the name Weymouth. Anyway, without further ado:

Great shots Everyone.
Bere Alston is located on the former London & South Western Railway mainline which went from Plymouth to Exeter via Okehampton and Tavistock. It was also the junction for the Callington Branch line into Cornwall.
The mainline from Bere Alston eastwards was closed by Dr Beeching, along with the northern end of the Callington branch. As a result the remains of both lines became a branchline, with trains required to reverse at Bere Alston on their journey to Gunnislake.
On the left is the former mainline from Plymouth, on the right is the former Callington branch (now to Gunnislake).
Looking towards Tavistock, here we see evidence of a double track mainline, the branchline used to terminate behind the platform.
On the now disued platform the remains of the old waiting room and signal box can still be seen today.
A Class 153 arrives from Plymouth.

Does it look right? I am not convinced by the windows or door apetures.
When it will be completed becuase i would like it for new route Planned Between London & Amsterdam
