glbotu: Thank you for the tips! Actually, I have that part down pat. Its probably not set up properly, haven't found too many good pictures for it, but I'll look into videos and stuff too. Really just setting up all the basic stuff, then from there I can make it more detailed

Great shots all, i got 2010 today but it wasn't long before i started hitting problems... I downloaded midshire mainline and downloaded it but when i go into trainz 2010 and open it it says is corrupted and has missing dependencies.
P.S trainz 2010 handles lovely on my laptop.

There's a Midshire thread on here and the British Trainz forum listing the locations of most of the missing content .

When you say corrupted do you mean that the route won't load at all ?
You need to run the route in compatibility mode . It will throw up errors if you don't .

Guys, I have a problem. I installed Trainz, and when I try and open content creator plus, it doesn't open, it just says "Content manager plus has stopped working" and says to close the program, or check online. I have windows 7 basic if that is anything to do with it. i can get a screenie if needed, many thanks, tom.

@hunter_tazo - I don't wish to sound unhelpful but you would probably reach a wider audience by posting a problem such as this in the TS06 or General section as the people visiting this thread generally do so to look at screenshots of UK routes, stock etc.

That said, if I knew the answer to your predicament, I would certainly try to provide an answer.

Hello,

With the prior permission from two great British content creators for Trainz, Dave(nexusdj) and Tony(tmz06003), I've been able to reskin the gobsmackingly delectable class 456 into Southern and Network Southeast colors. Had nothing to do all evening, so I was able to reskin these in about 2 hours tops.

If I release it, it's going onto the DLS. I'm a 2010 user so I suppose only users of 2010(and 2009 SP4?) can be able to use it.

Yes, I realize that there is no 3rd rail. I'm just using this trackage at the moment because it's easy on the frames. For some bizarre reason, Bloodnok's 3rd railed track seems to make my layout choppy to maneuver.

They'll be great for those Southern region routes!

Some really inspiring screenshots on this thread!

I'm hoping to post some shots of my route today.

Not that it means a lot but its really good to see people creating such indepth routes, and people sharing there hard work and no doubt frustrating at times.

I'll have to look back through this thread cause I'm pretty sure I've posted screenies ages ago!

I'm a qualified amoeba so I suppose I could split then I can do routes and reskins at the same time. Oh, I just realised I would also need a 2nd PC! Oh well, can that idea.

I'll get back to reskins one of these days though...
