where did u get those OHLs from
Built them in Gmax , The masts are track objects with the cable a spline object . Hopefully up on the DLS in the next few days .
@Joe_T : Hopefully before Christmas . The route isn't mine it's 99% the work of Fudginator . I've resignalled it , moved a few point ends , Restrung most of the catenary and waved my Gmax wand over it in a few places .

it would be good if you could make them so that the OHLs came with the track as a single piece

The major problem i have with making a route is the terrain i can never get realistic terrain it always is flat or using a preset one
Most of my routes are flat boards .
You could try transDEM to produce realistic routes

It's payware but comes with a comprehensive and easy to follow instruction manual .
There's plenty of terrain only routes on the DLS try using one of those , It doesn't matter if the terrain is for a specific place , you can cover it in what you want and call it what ever you want .
Or try modifying an existing route , There's quite a few on the DLS with no restrictions on modifying in the route description ?
I'd better post a screenshot as they get a bit annoyed if it's just all text

now that is birmingham international, when will you amazing routes be available? as i am trying to make similar style routes and atm mine don't have much character to them?

As the turtorial says use GIMP it is like photoshop but free and open source

Tasty. I take it you have a heritage line running alongside modern image UK? That's a good idea and one which I may well use on my own route...
