UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

Request to mezzoprezzo

Casper,

Your screenies are really first class. What trees and vegetation do you use on your routes please?

Thanks, Andy :)

Hi Andy.

Thanks for the compliment. Nice shot you have there too!

I use several types of vegetation. However, for me the big three for UK (and most other) routes are Trundra, DMDrake and jankvis(JVC). I’m pretty sure all of those are represented somewhere in shot here:

The Trundra vegetation is available from the Greenery website. I recommend getting all of them (there are 2 pages to download) from here: http://www.greenery.name/mstsg/mstsgd.htm?trainz,1

The trees I use from jankvis [JVC] (kuid:328583, and DM Drake (kuid:33404) are all from the DLS

On my Italian route I’ve used all of the above plus some warmer weather vegetation. I’ve found loads of excellent Mediterranean freeware vegetation on the TrainzItalia site: http://www.trainzitalia.com/index.php

Big, big thanks to all of the creators for these, and so many other, marvellous assets.

Cheers

Great stuff Casper. Just downloaded all those myself.

Corrected air turbulance sign has been done too!

Thanks pfx.

I’m now starting to feel a bit more seasonal.

Life in the village. Christmas Eve 1963.

Nice easy walk - straight into the pub after the Carol service!

Not quite sure what is going on in this screen shot but it looks like it could be a major incident. There seem to by a flying loco and one crashed through a wall and half buried in it  . If it is though I cant understand why there is a bunch of school kids standing so close to the scene ?? I hope that they get away safely

I should of put some info with the shot:
a gas leak in a near by factory has threw the shunter into the viaduct and the viaduct is now collapsing! The class 66 was heading across the viaduct as it was collapsing! It was heading back to shed so was going alot slower so managed to stop hanging off the bridge, WORKMEN, not children had raced over to try and stop the 66 from toppling over the edge...

This is hopefully going to be a short film soon! XD kind of a corrie rip off except the effects will look better! And the story will be more realistic :) sorry you didn't understand it to well...
What could happen next? Find out in the video!

Thanks for explaining, your imagination was too vivid for me to grasp :hehe: . I will look forward to the video release

Enough of all that smoke in the steam yard.

Open countryside and a bit of rural landscape for a pleasant change.

Further round my UK route. British Railways 9f with blood and custard rolling stock, passing a symbiotic farm.

Cheers

Symbiotic Farm

Hi Rob,

It relates to a comment recently made by one of the great creators in the Nature Screenshots thread. I quote:

“And, speaking as a person who used to create objects, I can say we really love to see our creations finding homes in such artistic scenes. It's a symbiotic relationship.”

Cheers

Yes, I'll accept your word on that! ;)

Great Western Days....In Wales

Hello Everyone,

I know i am not that good at trainz HD stuff (due to my laptop), but at lest I will try my best. Well I love GWR so I decided to make a majic South Wales route with its tall hillls, sharp curves & long tunnels also small but breathtaking colliery routes with tiny elderly locomotives. Sounds tempting... wait to you see the shots.

Sadly i wish I had some more proper Great Western locomotives for my route, oh well thats life.

A crack GWR Cornwall Express hauled by GWR 5080 Defiant hases up Bricketon Bank
trainz89_20091227_0003.jpg

Two Hours later at the same location.....A GWR 4502 creases up from Berkely Vale Tunnel to takle the steep bank
trainz89_20091226_0002.jpg

A GWR Dukedog heading south with a midday passenger glides over the slightly overgrown viaduct just near Wycombe Lode
trainz89_20091225_0000.jpg

GWR 57xx 5702 pauses at Wycombe Halt with a stopping train destined to the Hately Branch Terminus. Note The uses of the iconic Great Western Auto-coach

Now the Berkely Coalliery North Branchline Worked by some elderly GWR locomotives but one brand new 94xx (because a 56xx is not on DLS anymore as i know of). The branch follows the banks of Festinoge lake & the southern branch has a unusual arragement a tunnel under a junction.

More comming and the Famous GWR City Of Truro will make an appearence soon.

Kind Regards
Michael

If I may say, there are from a little site called Sodor Island 3D,they are workmen based on the guys from the classic series,oh the memories, will be checking my subs box for this Edwardandthomas10:)

Perhaps the inhabitants of Sodor are not tall people then :hehe:

No offence intended but in the screenshot they did look like children all wearing the same uniform, hence the assumption that they were school kids
