UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

~snip~ What's the fence you've used please? ~snip~

Hi Anthony.

Thanks for your comments. :)

It's Barbed Wire Fence 01 - kuid2:133671:50019:1

I'm pretty sure it's by railcentre and on the DLS, which isn't letting me search at the moment, so I can't get in to check - sorry.

The bits of rail which I've set almost vertically in the foreground, (British Railways used to recycle old rails and use them as fence posts), are 140lb AREA rail rusty - kuid:70337:37005 by martinvk which are definitely on DLS.

Cheers
Casper

Hey pfx,
Can I ask, Where Did You Get The Double Speed Sign ?

@mezzoprezzo

i have to say i am not a fan of ye olde steam trains but that is one of the better pictures i have seen. it captures the essence of a child peering of the wall.

@ ekin1972

@Darklordd27

Thank you both for your very kind comments.

One of the great thing about this sim is that you can re-live your youth so easily.

We didn't just peer over the wall though. By crawling beneath the clocking in desk of our local loco sheds in the 1950s it was possible to get in.

I think the longest we lasted before being chased out was around three and a half minutes!

I'm still creating some of those scenarios. (I'll post more when our guests have gone!)

Cheers

I agree with the others Casper, that's a cracker, one of the most atmospheric shots I've seen in a long time. Incidentally, what is the loco shed you're using there?

Thanks.

Something I came up with this evening. Plenty to do still. And the exception of the added road on shed:)

The houses on the hill in the background are at Keyham, with Keyham station beyond the bridge in the background. St Budeaux is beyond Keyham near the Tamar and Royal Albert Bridges.

Anyone know where I could find a bridge like this one? Or any useful items for the WCML?

Best way to do that would be with a brick arch bridge (such as one of the FMA ones with a bank end) or a standard brick arch with some clever use of retaining walls to create the same effect.

Good afternoon everyone.

Nice shots all.

Just a quick heads up. We have relatives staying and they won't go before the weekend!!

I'll reply regarding the engine sheds once a can get to the PC for more than a few minutes - I'm only manging to escape from "perfect host" mode for fleeting periods.

Cheers
