UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

just to say that i have made some progress on my UK Mainline route and will be posting some more screen shots shortly. As an aside from that if you upload a route with other peoples content does it, when some one else downloads it download all the pieces that go in it

If the downloader uses content manager to download the route then all dependancies will be downloaded with the route as long as they are on the DLS. If you have used assests from third party websites then include this info in the description of the route or add a 'read me' so that others know where to get the assests from

Recognise this closed station ?

313silvertown.jpg

Silvertown! The next stop is North Woolwich, or Custom House. A line that closed just before the 378s came into service, which would of been interesting to see.

Good representation I have to say, but I am not happy with the station curvature, it needs to be on a sharper curve. as the line straightens out at the end of the platform.

Great shots all

@ PFX : The buildings in my Stafford route are custom built and haven't been released yet . The main station building is going to be rebuilt as it was one of my first Gmax projects and I've learnt how to build them better since (less poly's).

Tata ..... for now ;)

This is part of my new route (Still Under Construction) When I was using TRS2006 I made a route called Riverdale... This got deleted along with loads of other crap when my old PC Died...

Riverdale has been remade as a Riverside Terminus Station (GWR/BR Western Region)

I have completed most of the trackwork and signalling with tests being carried out to see if AI can complete all movements I want without any imput from me.

Comments please?

Will post more pics when i have finished more of the town features and backgrounds

It should be pretty easy to do that really. I've placed modern objects in the town so really I'd say it's more fictional to be fair, but it be nice to make a joint route with somebody :-D I hope to make a small route with this station as the main feature. I don't want to make a huge layout. I think that having something manageable with 4 stations max is all I need for a route. I lose interest with large layouts cause a session can last over 2 hours. Thats too long for me! More pics later today if I make a dent on the grey mass!

Thanks for the link Dave. Another to add to the collection. Further on my love of urban decay, my latest coffee table purchase was a massive disappointment and went back to amazon (Urbex: Beauty in Decay in case anyone is interested). Anyway, I digress and lead you folks further and further OT. Sorry.

W.P.B wallacey prairie bay preserved line.

That's a nice layout coming together there beep55. :)

meanwhile I'm creating a four station preserved railway with locomotives from the company's:
GWR
LMS
LNER
Load haul
British railways
SR
DB schenker (EWS)
and Freight liner.

Its fictional and is based somewhere in the west country of Britain with a coal and passenger service to keep up money.
the main haulage of the coal services is hauled by the BR stainer 8F 2.8.0s and stainer black fives. with the help of BR class 37s and 47s which there are about 5 all together (that's the 37s and 47s mind not black fives and 8F's) may i note that that isent the only diseal haulage the diesels are the following:
BR class 08
BR class 20
BR class 24/25
BR class 31/33
BR class 37/4s and 37/0s
BR class 47
BR class 56
BR class 46
and BR class 60
(I am making plans to expand the diesel types starting with class 45s)
there seem to be more diesels than steam locomotives since i was born in 1997 I'm more at home with disels and the only steam locos i have seen are LNER and GWR. note that the LNER loco was mallard :)
the steam locos are the following:
Fowler 3F (however i need to get all the dependencies)
Fowler 4F
Stainer 8F
stainer black five
BR standard 9F
merchant navy 7P
Ivett class 2.

at the moment I'm at the 3rd station (which when i started the route was where i started and still am at) called stooke which is the last station until snowy junctions and storm hold terminus (which there are two of storm hold and parkway)

the main freight haulage between phillipson coal colliery and hawkins power station (the two names i devised from Philip d Hawkins a railway artists name from my tracks on canvas book made by him :hehe: ) is the main use of the line on the weekends in the week its usually passenger which doesn't seem to fit with school but oh well. :D

here are some pictures

One of the 9F's pulling out of the yard of stooke.

the same 9F in front of a little crash..... *cough* :o

Stainer 8F num 48151 and a merchant navy 7P with its number obscured.
trainz2010-09-2816-03-45-90.jpg

And the locomotives to be restored line note the class 50 not shown in the diesel classes since its the first to come.

that's all the pictures at the moment i don't have much else to show.
(unless you want to look at a TESCO express storage plant...:o )
sorry for the huge post.
