UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

that warship does look nice they must have been the first to carry the BR Blue livery because they didn't even see the end of Steam all of them where scraped by late 1967.

D602 was the other NBL Warship to receive blue livery but with a yellow warning panel, I believe it was repainted before D600. Both are available on the DLS.

Although they were withdrawn at the end of 1967, D601 remarkably survived in Barry Scrapyard until June 1980 with D6122, it's a great pity these two NBLs were not saved.

Great shots all as per usual:)

I cabbed those two at Barry in 1979 but sadly dropped my camera and crocked it so I couldn't get any photos.Part of the reason why they were scrapped was because Woodham was a steam man and they were the last diesels in the yard, and the other was that they had aluminium body shells so they were quite valuable.

pfx the loco on the far side is called a class 150 dmu they are on the dls uploaded by marky7890 and there's quite a lot of them too.

My latest work in progress is the route from Scarborough to Hull.

Long way to go yet. Scarborough so far.

Good luck with the project, I'll be interested in progress on this one! We were in Scarborough on holiday a couple of months ago.

I hope you have that extremely long bench in place on the main platform;) ?

Oh nuts. I deleted a crucial word from my request. I meant the loco shed. Eejit that I am.

Aha. Never mind. The shed is also by marky7890. It's called Longrock TMD Maintenance Shed. There's the kuid as well in case you can't find it 179051:1062:1 :)
