Arrrgghhh, someone had to do a prune at the wrong time!

Anyway, back on topic, what this thread WAS for. I didn't get far, but my target was to get a TTO done today along with a Brake. But I had to slim the coach down, about 30cm in total. Does anyone know the typical width of a pre grouping 4 wheel coach?

Lord, please, do point out all the faults, despite the carriage being work in progress, make a long list and point out every fault you can see. I welcome criticism, particularly harsh if it was directed at the model, I want to work (hard) for my model and be proud of it.

I totally agree Durhamlass, that route would make a great project and one I too have considered....however my content creation skills extend to making a few signs at present, so don't hold you breath:). The locos might not be too hard though, as they were slab-sided affairs. We could do with some typical NE sloping side wooden coal wagons though.....

I'm not holding my breath either. ;)

NER locomotives and rolling stock are the most obvious bits missing (though a Q6 is available as payware at least an EF1 and ideally the EE1 would be needed). NER rolling stock (including the wagons you mentioned) lower quadrant signals and catenary are the other obvious omissions.

Still, by the time I'm finished we'll at least have one end of the basic route to start from. We'll see. :)

Sorry if I seem rude, but what is that? I'm not very good with me pre BR stck :( sorry.

Just a suggestion DurhamLass - have you tried searching for Catenary under foreign names ? If you find an English/Foreign Dictionary and put in "Catenary" for translation into other languages you can find Content not listed under it's English name.

I'd not thought of that, but if I ever get that far I'll certainly bear it in mind.
