@Paulsik: I don't know if im the only one, but I haven't been in Trainz as much recently. As i've been enjoying the lovely weather, making the most of it because you never know what the "summer" will bring, like the last 3 years.

Great shots everyone!

The Wessex Trains 150263 "Castles of Cornwall", passes Restormel Castle, between Lostwithiel and Bodmin Parkway.

Restormel02.jpg

The view from the top of the castle looking south towards Lostwithiel. The town can be seen in the distance.

Restormel03.jpg

Looking north towards Bodmin Parkway.

Trainz Tuner was used to extend the distance on the last two, frame rates were down quite a bit.

Just a few more, you are right paulsik, but as mark says you have to make the most of the lovely weather.

Is it me or has this thread really started to slow down?
I remember there being new piccys on daily!

I don't post much now as I've come in for a lot of flack for posting pics of content I'd not released .

Certain parts of the old guard took it on themselves to criticise the newbies for posting pics with bits of grey board showing , so that scared a few folks off from posting !!

It's a shame that the original forum was lost in a crash because I'd bet there where quite a few grey board pics from said same people back in the day !!

We all have to start somewhere !!

I haven't been posting because I've been busy building routes :D

100+ board TC3 built route anyone?

I totally agree with you Nexusdj, your screenshots were superb, and even if you hadn't released the content, it doesn't matter, because this is a UK screenshots thread were you post UK screenshots, I'd like to see you return with your screenshots, as they looked fantastic.

I have stopped posting only because I used Trainz Dev to post my screenshots through, but since that has gone down, posting screenshots has become non existent, I expect many others used the same way as me, but now can't upload there screenshots either. If Trainz Dev becomes available again, then my screenshots will re-appear here...

I suppose the 'flak' bit is aimed squarely at me. But I make no apologise for stating that just plonking track down on bare boards is creating a route, because it isn't.
I don't mind a bit of grey, but I do think there should be a greater mass of scenery, otherwise it is not a model, just a line of track

And I am now off this thread permanently!

These shots are from an unfinished and UNTEXTURED route. But as this thread has now turned a corner I wont receive abuse for posting them.
