One of the hapless Clayton Class 17s works a short goods train through Coxgreen station over rumour3s excellrnt new Bullhead Track. Thanks to Photobucket..
Here's the superb new Prairie 2-6-2T 4561 from UKBL hard at work on an ECS working. Thanks to Skipper1945 for another great addition to the UK steam locomotive fleet.
Looking forward to the BR green version.
The route is very much WIP and still has the carpety look of terrain in the same direction.
Here we see Rob's Merchant Navy tackling the climb (though the bridge is actually level)
Same MN passes a trio of wagons cut off from the running line and left to decay. In the background is the spur to the coal mine they once served, long disused (I tore it up 'cos it confused the AI)
I'll be adjusting the section of the route when I have time to make it a little more realistic. Maybe I'll even release it, though it has a lot of Train Driver assets, so I would have to change a lot. The advantage of this is Railwaves were gentle on the polys, meaning my little system can cope!
This is the village that the railway serves. It might eventually be bigger, but I quite like it. There is a little more out of shot, though really it is still too small to warrant the railway's continued existence (especially with MNs). I think there is a little too much road traffic (I posted elsewhere about this, and I'm told the control is in the road, not the region).
Viewed at Havant taking "the wrong line" to Portsmouth with a service from Brighton on a 2007 layout.
Should of been a Brighton to Portsmouth Semi fast (Code 60!).
Before I get shot about Havant (and lots more work on the layout to do!), here is a pic during the resignalling works. http://russellsphotos.fotopic.net/p37730640.html
(Sorry, I got more of the PIG in the frame!)
