Hi folks, here's some pics from my Lavenham winter layout in TC3. It was meant to be done by Christmas, but, as usual, I got sidetracked into doing lots of intricate detail at the expense getting the thing 'done'. Will I finish this one?
Anyway, this is a short DEM route based on Lavenham in Suffolk with the usual artistic license taken (such as: I've turned it into a double track route when in fact it was a single track branch outside the station.)

(4) A J39 hauled coal train leaves in the direction of Cockfield while Lavenham's J50 tank shunts the yard:
(5) The coal train slowly passes the 'up' line Home signal as it pulls away in the Cockfield direction:
(6) This is the one I entered for 'screenshot of the week'. Well, I like it!
With all the snow and stuff, I think this layout looks "pretty". :hehe:
BTW. I've used FMA winter tracks for this layout and I think they look great. But for the first time looking at these pics I'm wondering if this is concrete sleepered track underneath the snow? Oops!
that hardly used length of track needs some attention!
