UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

Pity you arn't the owner of these forums is it =|

I don't see any problem with it. Would have been enhanced with a picture of the route though ;)

Gangsta.

It would have been fine with a screenshot of the route, which is what I started this thread for, otherwise there will be engineering prints of Locomotives, scale drawings of stations and signal boxes etc. Start another thread like I did.

I fail to see the problem. It's a screenshot, it's from a UK based route, and it's taken from Trainz...

Thank you, but I can see what it is, though I'm not sure what I'm supposed to think when I look at it. OK, it's a very basic layout with a long walk to the depot and a station with a bi-directional through line.

Hmm, I'm actually interested in how you got that diagram - can all that be generated in Trainzmap? (text, legend etc.)

...and this is a screenshot of it.

Not to cause an argument but it is a screenshot and it is showing a UK route and as I think you said when I got picked fault with for screenshoting locos not the actual routes the thread was meant to be a route thread but it was not made clear and you don't rearly mind if its of locos aslong as its UK baced. (I think it was you who said that, If not sorry)

Oh yer, then I started the UK locosthread as this is meant for routes and got picked on again! but anyway thats history now.

This is a comment not a decleration of war in this thread.

I'll post a screenie later

Lovely screenies you have there emo, please may I ask where you located the cement mixer in this shot please, it might be Russian, but couldn't find it on their site, and I'm unsure what the Russian translation is for Mixer of the Cement......:hehe:

Search kenichiro on the DLS, There is also some lovely KOMATSU wheel loaders.

Thanks, Overmars. I see what you mean, but I'm fairly certain the cab is in the right place. I've checked it alongside another 47 and moved the viewing position out of the cab, and it looks to be OK (Yes, I have checked both ends!)-

However, the driving position is set a bit low and far back- with TRS cabs I prefer to be able to see the road ahead without having to look down each time I want to move a control. I could offer a more authentic eye position as one of the [ views.

Cheers

Its amazing how 3 clicks of the mouse using paint.NET transforms a boring picture.

A Eurostar on my WIP Eurostar route
This shot is just before Waterton Station at the verry West end of the line (its the same route as shown in posts 3400, 3254, 3087 on this thread)
(Please ignore the amazing futuristic floating van and car!)

An 08 trundles through the former Pit village and station heading for the overbridge on the main-line. The station buildings are gone, but the signal box still remains in use.

The 08 passes through lines of rusting wagons...

...and some buried in the encroaching undergrowth.

Screen_004-3.jpg

Out on the main-line a pair of 37s are heading for the same overbridge as an HST hurtles past in the other direction.

Screen_005-1.jpg

At the overbridge the 08 and 37s catch up with a local service. The 37s have crossed over to take the line eastwards.

I've changed 'drives' and not all the content has been copied across, so there's some long grass missing. The overbridge is TafWeb and FMA, before anyone asks.

Spot the deliberate mistakes!

I won't say 'enjoy', I hate that.

Rumour3, that cab looks great. I'd like to put a request in for a more forward eye position like you mentioned, if that's OK :)

I'd also love it if you could clean the glass, as having to view everything in brown vision would really detract from the visual quality of trainz when using the cab otherwise.

I would agree with Paul that the signalbox is wrong way round and also in your last shot, if the DMU and the 37's are going in the same direction, then the DMU is on the wrong track, or the 37's should be on the up goods rather than the up main.....

Great shotz anyway Dave....Could I run this route in TC3 perhaps ???

Signalbox backwards in the first pic? Or is it the use of the default HST? :o

There are two more yet! The DMU and 37s are going in opposite directions.

No, it's TRS2004 and taking longer than I anticipated due to work related problems, sorry.
