Am I permitted to place UK Kuju sim product pics here? I've got some wip reskins for the HST and some other cars. Because this thread only says UK shots I'm not sure if its just trainz or TRS, TC, MSTS, and KRS as a whole.

Personally I'd like to see the detailed version (not to mention the Hemyock branch in all it's glory) and based on the popularity of Angelah's routes, I suspect I may not be the only one.

I would also appreciate any dls suggestions for the large shed that should sit over the siding in front of the 67- I think it has a corrugated roof and concrete walls but I haven't found a good picture of it on the net yet.
Cheers

I've been working on a frame-rate friendly Liskeard- no pavements, fences, garden sheds etc. I'm trying to get a decent 'built up' area effect, and at the moment I'm getting similar frame rates to the Hawes area in the default 2006 route. I've stuck to a very limited range of built-in and dls only trees, buildings and textures- there are under 200 assets in the whole Liskeard-Looe route so far. I've got loads more buildings and trees to add, but in the meantime I would appreciate feedback on whether the lack of fine detail is likely to be regarded as a problem:

Performance or fidelity? With today's PCs such as ones with spec Dave mentions above you shouldn't have to make this choice anymore. It's now possible to have baseboards full to to the brim with splines, set scenery and yet have high FPS. (I need to talk to you about that Dave btw) (oh and check your PMs).I always work on the basis that given time an ordinary PC will have no problem with such routes. The advances in technology have already come along way since TRAINZ was first introduced and we just have to be patient. My son's PC can have 8GB of RAM and it already has 4. Not so long ago RAM was measured in MB. Just a few years back I was running a Pentium 286 with 16MB of RAM. Laughable really.
