UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

A Breadloaf uses the deep cutting at Ryhope Grange to shield itself from the abuse and inky pellets being thrown by schoolboys on the bridge...:o

Right this is final part of the argument:
1. The final decider awile ago on this thread was that aslong as it is mainly UK it is ok- whick makes mine ok as the focus is the class 43
2. Without reskins we would be stuck to 1 livery for everything
3. My shot didn't just have a tree and a sign
4. Just look at the very first post in this thread. Not a finished route is is?

That was a retorical question so if you are going to respond don't just shut your big annoying mouth

5. Sign and a tree. Look at your previus post

6. Please stop this nonsense!

You're driving the thread off topic and are annoying a fair few people, myself included. I don't think there's anything wrong with posting shots of WIP content in this section, as long as it's UK and perhaps if it's presented alongside some nice scenery (as I do).

Back on topic: @Nexus - Get that route released! Top work :)

Pevensey To Whitefield 1991

Here are few more from me.
fsscr075.jpg

First pic is of the first class 58 pulling a passenger train a rare sight as pulls into the bay at Whitefield.
fsscr078.jpg

Here we see a class 87 on an express from York to London Euston via Haworthorn Gewsbury and Crewe.
fsscr102.jpg

The last of the Class 124 working the weekends only train from Bradford to Pevensey Via Haworthorn. Here we see here at the old Besaide station where it is waiting for the token to proceed to Pevensey Junction.
fsscr084.jpg

Heading North we see a class 101 on a local from Crewe to Blackpool.
fsscr091.jpg

Another rare sight in the form of a class 50 pulling the Flyer which use to run across the line from Pevensey to Haworthorn on it way to York. it now goes via Bradford.

Cheers Nexusdj..I"ve looked at those FMA bridges and like all FMA stuff they are the dogs b's, together with the new Factory buildings....:D

Some absolutely stunning work being shown in this thread folks. :) :)

So to lower the tone and because I haven't posted anything in here for ages...

92001; My favourite 92....

Only a true 92 nerd would know but that is definitely 92031 in Dave's screenie. Spot the difference.

Yup, I see now

Obviously I wasn't looking properly as I was sure it said "001" on the side of it in Nexus's screenie :o

I am sorry for being a rear end, but I don't want anyone to go down the same road as I did and I hope I am helping to be rather constructive.

That was a rhetorical question so if you are going to respond don't just shut your big annoying mouth

Please don't air it out in the screenshot forum. If you truly disagree with someone, please air your thoughts by using the PM link under their username. Or, please use the "report this post" link, which looks like a warning sign. (The useful thing about that button, is that it alerts the mods, thus they can take the appropriate action.)

Sorry Captain, I had to quote, that comment could be open to misinterpretation by some who try bloody hard to bring everyone the best.
It would be rude otherwise don't you think?

From the jist of your post, to me it sounded like it was only those contributors that provide the best quality. It would be true for screenshots, BUT there are a lot of others who do not do so well for the screenshots, but make it up by showing screenshots of objects or meshes that are "Work In Progress". (Or at least in a state that you can see it in.)

Everyone who posts here, has a varying degree of experience levels and are essentially "artists" in their own right. Lets not distract the fact, we have kids, we have newbies and we have over 60s in the same thread, all contributing works of art.

Lets all just be thankful for each others work and screenshots. I know some are of minimal effort and for those that make trains, that is the main focus. So why don't we call an end to it?

(Besides, I've stopped contributing to this thread, after I felt comments got way too personal.)

EDIT: Yes, I know I am being the biggest critic out there, I've done similar actions and I am now asking everyone not to follow. The other thing, is it rhetorical or retorical?

Nice shots Harcourt.BTW the bridge in 46035's shot HAS been round awhile but the ones Nexusdj referred to (together with the Factories I mentioned) were added only 2 days ago.Unfortunately, like other FMA bridges they don't have parapets and there doesn't seem to be a matching brick wall to use..:(

That said vendel, your stuff raises the bar for realism... ....The one and only BR Blue Metrovick Co-Bo passes Coxgreen Junction with a heavy coal train..:(

No worries WEN, you're constructive. that is very, very diplomatic. I think the idea isn't to have mint screenshots and by all means WIP shots are ok but as Escafeld posted and as the title suggest, the best of British should be posted. someone reproducing central London with a bit of grid on the sides could be excused. you can't participate for the sake of participating and expect praises for shots such as Lesto's humouristic one which clearly represent no area, demanded no effort and are entirely subjective.
All layout creators have their own proficiency and style and effort (that's true effort not jsut participation) ought to be rewarded with some kind words.

What's the best of British? Vast subject. Suffices to say that a platform with a sign, some track and a train do not quite fit the description ;)

One should also appreciate the blatant advertising of upcoming content and posting it here because this thread sees much traffic is opportunistic and quite inappropriate. That is why reskinners screenshots do not fit the description.

tardis626's new thread is a good idea, despite the title's blatant mispelling.

There's a time when opening a new thread for a specific subject avoids transforming an existing thread into a dumping ground of anything.

PS: It's rhetoric :)

Ole Valley Troubles

Nice shots everyone, Eldavo love the look of those EWS Class 92
Here is a few screenshots from me.
fsscr114.jpg

Here we see The Ole Valleys Rebuilt Scot 46108 Seaforth highlander on the 10:12 Train from Wolverton to Gainsborough. Passing through the other platform are ballast wagons heading south.
fsscr115-1.jpg

The Newest arrival to the line is a Metrovick Co-Bo waiting at the bay at Wolverton.
fsscr117.jpg

Here we see the Co-Bo heading south with the Lines Ty42 hauling a load of wagons full of ballast and soil.
fsscr119.jpg

This is the reason why the ballast wagons have appeared on the Ole Valley Line after the Earthquake part of the line collapsed into the river. Here we see the Co-Bo With the wagons from the north and on the south end of the gap is the lines steam crane which has been used to pick up the old rails in the hole.
