Couldn't you just reskin a DRS 47?
after all, that's basically what the livery is, oxford blue
after all, 47237 was an ex DRS loco anyway

Which book have you been reading?
59201, 202, 203, 204, 205 and 206 all carried the livery. These same six passed into EWS hands when National Power was bought out in 1997, and they now carry EWS "red & gold" livery.

History along the line.
Hi Everyone great shots everyone.
Hay ikilledbambister where did you gte that Brake van behind the 08 it looks nice.
Here are a few from me.
We start in 1971 with D9003 Meld on semi fast south bound train to Kings cross.
In 1976 heading north we see D9571 Venus pulling broken down deltic 55009
The reason Venus was still green was the fact that BR didn't see any point of changing her because she was soon to be taken out of service after the 50th and final failed attempt to get the double Maybeck engine working again. Although in preserved form she runs she doesn't always work.
In 1993 We see newly built and named 50706 Miko she didn't have a Maybeck engine she had Rolls Royce Dragon Engine which was developed from the RR Griffin engine.
1996 We see Intercity Class 90 passing under a bridge just north of the Harneton Junction. The bridge carriers the 4 track main line north while the electrified line heads west to meat the WCML.
In 1999 we see a two Class 150 The nearest to the camera is sit in the bay just after arrival. While the second is on it way west.
Are last image is at the terminus where we see a lone Class 156.
My Final Image is of another Loco I have done.
