UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

Most BVE users have been waiting for his route for 2 or 3 years now and won't be long until we can actually drive it... and I can't wait...

I was gonna say earlier, I am currently attempting to build the Old Dalby Test Track outside Melton Mowbray as a bit of a side project to the 10 I am building all at the same time. Its about 17 miles long and includes a lot of objects (Depots etc) that I can't build (gmax still taking a bit of time to get the hang of) or I can't find on the DLS. If anyone has any decent photos or detailed maps (gradients etc), it would be much appreciated if you could send me a message. If on the other hand you've never heard of Old Dalby then check out www.old-dalby.com ... It's a very interesting site...

Sorry about my earlier blooper - great shots Grainger! BTW I visited Old Dalby in the summer of 1981 to photograph the 2 derelict Hymeks there but didn"t take any photos of the surrounding area..I"m building my own route from 25" OS maps photocopied from Sunderland library and I think if you visit Nottingham library they"ll have similar maps for the Old Dalby area , but normally only as far as the county boundary, wherever that is.

I'm sure someone with the requisite Gmax skills could knock something up in no time, they'd just need to know what it was that you wanted....

117 arriving at an unknown station on Midland Vales
This shot is good for several reasons:
I was able to test the NSE clocks
To prove I have TRS working again
to test the AJS template I'm adding to the stations on the route (ones that I can)
good result, it picked up passengers!

My comment is:

WHAT!!!?! an NSE clock that isn't broken in some form..... wow!

The Old Dalby test track runs behind my house :)

Nice to know that somebody's making it for Trainz......I know the line like the back of my hand, so if you need any additional information about it then I'll be happy to help.

Cheers Gangsta... I am using 06 but i want to recreate a new points build and the UK point motors just don't suit.. I've added a pic from Anthony Bowdens Watford Junction route on BVE4 with the type of trackside objects I would like to use and points system but may have to search european screenies to find it... I'll post the kuid of the box later... (at work and can't remember at the mo)

Nice motor nexus !

Well, I've been bitten by the Trainz bug once again, and have a few (well placed :p ) screenies ! (Warning 1280X1024 screenies)

An EWS 08 is seen hauling a Departmental 08 & some HAA (?) wagons for a refurb & repaint

My day down at Severnbridge (;)) figuring out what is going to happen with the little fellow peeking around the REB ...
Also in the shot is the 156 which runs between Severnbridge Juction & Severnbridge Town

Welcome back from the Dark Side Scott.:D

Nice looking points equipment there Dave, I've always thought Trainz was a little light on trackside equipment, a look at any of the current Railway publications photos always portrays the PW with untidy clutter, signs & equipment etc.

That pic from BVE looks most impressive.

Perhaps time for a screenshot?

Class 92001 slows for a signal check.

Long long ago, in a network far away,
A Brand New loco came out to play.
With not a moment to waste,
She pulled off in haste,
To bring a good end to the day.

Well... where to start... Thanks for all the responses to the earlier screenies and questions... Gangsta, The kuid of the yellow box is 244904:1073 and its called eurobalise_leu but do a search under the creator and theres a couple of great objects. The max detail route will probably not be released by anthony (BVE) but even a high detail should be class. As said earlier by Shanks, it is the payware turbostar from railwaves and well worth nine quid. Can't wait for the HPSS points dave. Always love your content. If you ever want to send me that cross country skin for the voyager or national express skin for the 43, then just PM me and i'll be over the moon to accept... (Fingers and Toes crossed)... Also, Lewisner... Get your sunderland and surrounding route on the DLS...

GreatEastern, Its the sheds at asfordby and the restaurant at widmerpool i'm after (See pics) and any other buildings that would suit the route. 46035, you must be so lucky living with the test track and seeing those new rolling stock. I'm gonna add the electrified 4th rail track for the LU Trains since metronet took over the line but need to know where this 4th rail electrification starts and ends and if its in operation? I'll get some early screenies on asap.
