UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

Just to show a bit of a novalty I thought I would post some uk trains in the UK screenshot thread :o:o:o

goodolddays.jpg

Here we see a pair of 37's passing a pair of mint & Cream 141's at Garsdale :)

This isn't an attack on anyone but when you say just for novelty you are going to show some UK rolling stock on here, lewisner has being using that Renfe loco in his screens for quite some time and no one has complained, I remeber somone asking why he uses it but thats it, I could understand if it was a V200 departing Berlin for Dresden because that is nothing to do with the UK, but as lewisner said the foreign engine is on UK rails so therefore constitutes a UK screenshot.

Ye lewisner has posting picks of that horrible RENFE Loco and you didn't seem to mind it but I post a pick of a Ty2 in britian there is already someone arguing.
Why the hell does almost everyone pick fault at anything and everything they can see.

I don't think you will get away with saying that! It seems too many people love it!

but as a British man through and through, you will only see UK content from me!

Please note it is my opinion and that the models graphics are great i just don't like the design of the loco in general.

To stop this argument i will remove the pic and i won't post anymore pics of the Ty42 is this thread unless i see anymore of the Renfe loco.
Becuase the reason i posted it was to see what people would say to some one else posting a European loco.

Simple arguement. Simple answer.

TLBlade, your shot does not portray "Britain" in any way. All I can honestly see is a green baseboard with a Polish (?) train on it.

With Lewisners shots, yes the RENFE Conferderation is present, but its hauling UK stock, on what I can tell, is a UK based layout.

Gangsta.

P.S I'm getting back into Trainz now, and I'm hoping to get some shots up soon !

ah, but he is modelling a preserved line

the NVR have foreign stock, and soon, are going to use a foreign steam loco (King Haakon) to pull them

Yeah, well done TLBlade. At least TL has a good imagination, and his trains always have a reason for being pictured. The TY thingy actually looks like it has just come out of the workshops because the cab sides are a different colour to the rest of it (I don't know if the creator intended that!) The Patriots look fantastic and make me want one for my line.

Louise, shame on you for allowing that 142 out in public. It is a disgrace, and the guy who did the destination blind needs to brush up on his spelling...

Best wishes,
Padster

Maybe "Morecombe" is the name of a place on Louise's fictional route ;)

Padster I would like to bring you up on 2 things the first its a 141 but oh well.

The 2nd thing is to both you and 46035. If I have spelt Morecombe wrong (as I did the destination blinds for the 141 from WEN) then West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive have spelt it wrong because Eric Morcombe who was born in the Town of Morcombe spelt his stage name wrong because the founders of the Town Morcombe spelt it wrong and do you fancy telling everyone who lives there they got the name wrong as defined by this website http://www.morecambe.co.uk/

141, 142, what does it matter? It still looks like a bus on wheels....

Fair enough. Morcombe is the old spelling. Why then did you include the 'e' after the 'r'? At least be consistent. If you travel to the town on the M6, it is 'Morecambe', not 'Morcombe' or 'Morecombe' that you see on the signs. I bet if you pick up the local paper that would say Morecambe as well. Even the website says Morecambe in the link!:hehe:

Best wishes,
Padster

Wow...this isn't very interesting at all.

I think I'll post a screenshot in this *screenshot* thread...please, nobody kill me, or have a go at me for doing so...

(And yes, I'm aware I've posted it bfore...but I thought this page should have a screenshot, just for a bit of variety)

The blind is spelt MorEcombe. Download the 141's and check out the blind yourself.

I didn't say you'd spelled it wrong....it's just that somebody has had the nerve to edit my post, and for some strange reason they've removed where I'd put that Padster's comments were "pedantic" (whilst he was accusing other people's comments as being pedantic)....I was in fact sticking up for you Louise. My comment regarding your spelling was meant to be tongue-in-cheek, hence the ";)"

Cracking shot there Chris (sparky) Oh and if we could by any chance, Not asking much, but if you could, Let's get back on topic.

2 from me
