If you don't quote the image, does anyone know what you are referring to? Quoting the image doesn't increase the amount downloaded through the internet, as you have already downloaded the image, rather than downloading the same image twice. It does take up a bit of screenspace, I agree, however.

EDIT: If we are being picy about screenshot, should signitures with images be treated differently? Same signiture? Post after post?

Thoughts of a guard

Rush-hour service, and I have been given a 3x117 and 3x101 to guard...

Quick check that no one is trying to board the train....

... no ...

.. no ...

.... right, right away driver, now, where are you going madam?
(Why do I get the impression that these passengers are trying to board from "quick sand"?)

"Wessex Electric" There may be some point in quoting an image if it appeared on a previous page.Theres absolutely no point whatsoever in quoting it if it is on the same page.If I wanted to discuss the Mona Lisa with you, I wouldn"t need to show you a full sized image of her - I"d simply say "you know the Mona Lisa" and you"d know what I was talking about.....at least I hope so....:p P.S Trainzers are unusually smart, so if someone says "Emo, referring to your previous shot" we quickly figure out what they mean, unless we have overdosed on Grolsch!

More unhappiness from the nodding donkey, as the engine(s) show off their (very ill) health! /me thinks it needs a trip to Nevile Hill!

Neville Hill? The 142's don't get serviced at Neville Hill they get serviced at Cardiff Canton, Newton Heath (Manc) & Heaton (Newcastle) WEN learn to find your facts out first :p

I didn't know I'v caused such an out rage. im sorry to anyone who I pissed off. I dont come on here to upset anyone (thats just an added bonus :hehe: )
I didn't know i was upsetting so many people with re-posting a picture, i wont do it again.

They still service 141's...

Is there a Neville Hill in Iran then?

143's
Blimey, those pacers sure get around a bit!

Last I knew, 143's were shedded at Cardiff!

Ok, 141s were maintained at Nevil Hill, I know that for sure, but since 142/143s have been shoved around from place to place, its hard to keep track where they all been. 144s are and still are based at Nevil Hill and any depot that can maintain 141/144s, in theory, should maintain 142s (they are essentially the same.).

EDIT: Pellet, wrong about that too, 2/3rds are based at Canton, the other 1/3 are at Bristol St Phillips Marsh

I thought they were all allocated to Canton, but some, when in Bristol get maintained at Bristol? As the 1/3rd of them are still in visit Bristol livery, yet I think now owned by ATW?

And one I thing I meant to ask, are 141s able to work in multiple with a 156? 156's can work with other pacers?

yes, there is also an Iveco Stralis at the back, next to the bridge, which did not start production until 20 something!
