A Queen Street service departs Bishopbriggs.

It was never my intention to do much of the West Highland out of Glasgow, one or two stations perhaps, but I've settled for going as far as Ashfield. The line will end at a portal shortly after this. I realised that Oban bound services wouldn't stop here, only those for Anniesland (I think).

@pfx.........Ashfield is very accurate pfx......it's brilliant.
Another station i use regularly.
As you look, about 6/7 mins to Queen Street on the left ( depending on Eastfield traffic ) and about 13/14 mins to Anniesland on the right.
A brilliant little 8 station shuttle service......very well done love it.

Queen Street.......Ashfield.......Possilpark & Parkhouse........Gilshochill.........Summerston.........Maryhill.........Kelvindale........Anniesland.......and repeat back and forth.

Thanks.

Had a dose of the head staggers today and took the line on until Possilpark. Makes more sense for the portal to be under the canal.

I decided to try an overview of Glasgow north of the M8 with all the dials maxed. This is 22km draw distance with a few areas still clearly WIP.

You should be able to see Eastfield to the middle right and the carriage depot in front. I realised I maybe chopped too many boards in the distance as the hills so I'll need to fix that.

Nice to see someone making use of the route. I won't say mine as it was a combination of four builders. I haven't looked at that for a long long time.
It is a lovely route pfx, i used to run the original Rosworth Vale all the time when it was released years back. I hope you don't mind me changing a few things, track type for one. The era is a bit modern for me, so i back dated it a bit.

Thanks very much for the remastered version.

Mike.

I think the original Rosworth was pretty much the only route I used way back when.

I noticed the lack of OHLE and different track. More than happy for you to tinker with it.

Quite busy at Eastfield.

Depot was always busy and the staff fantastic. very rare you would not be allowed around the shed and sometimes given a spare driver to show you around could be 60 odd locos on a weekend on shed ( biggest was Toton with up to 100) Looking good there Innis
