Another Golf course has been rebuilt, this time the biggest one - Carlyon Bay near St Austell half way down the Cornish mainline.

Wapping Bridge signalbox was a couple of miles south of Penshaw on the Leamside Line and controlled the junction with the Penshaw goods lines. It closed about 1967 but my route exists in an alternate timeline so here is a nice shiny HST passing a Peak on a Freightliner waiting for the signal for the main line.

An early morning Class 465 heads to Crayford having set off from Gravesend via Dartford:

An empty Class 465 out of Slade Green Depot heads eastwards to Gravesend to commence a service to London Charing Cross via Sidcup. Northfleet station is to the right of this picture. The lower level tracks lead down to the former cement works:

I hadn't intended to post this here, given it was purely for the final British Trainz screenshot of the month, but it turned out fairly well so here's Edinburgh Waverly sometime in the 80s.

55012 Crepello heads a diverted ECML train on the Leamside seen at Whitwell signalbox. Although I had many thrashes on this line I never visited Whitwell on foot and its all gone though the rails are still in the road.

I haven't opened the Embra - Glesga route for a good few months now so decided to start work on it again. Just adding detail to Waverley as it looked a bit bare.

One thing I've noticed since working in HD on Craiglang, is how inadequate 5m boards appear.

While the western side of Waverley is almost complete, the concourse and eastern ends still require a lot of work. I've been trying to 'kit bash' as much as possible to get something approaching the station in the early 90s or there about. It's missing the roof as it's much easier to work without it in place. Hopefully it's starting to look familiar to anyone who's been in it.

Great shots PFX!

I added a working level crossing at Moorswater rather it just before a no traffic road crossing the line, The crossing lights were just for me to know if the crossing had been activated.

I think this livery set has only been available for about 48 hours. I'd say Trainz+ is well worth it though if you can afford it. I upgraded a couple of years ago and couldn't imagine going back to the standard versions now.

A typically busy view of Waverley as I recall it in the early 90s.

A London - Aberdeen HST set sits in platform 19 and a 156 DMU for Bathgate is in 18. A pair of Class 158s on an Edinburgh - Glasgow express leaves platform 14, with another set in 13, having arrived from Helensburgh Central. A Class 156 is in it's usual place on platform 12 bound for Dunblane while a Glasgow to London Kings Cross service has arrived in platform 11.

Interested to see this, but have they taken the opportunity to revise the blue HST as the shade of BR blue needs to be aligned with the version they're using in the Mk1 coaching stock?
