UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

Looking towards where the previous screenshot was taken from, this shows the northern end of Eastfield and the mainline curving east.

Last time I was at Eastfiled there were class 29's on the curve awaiting their fate at Glasgow works. Your rendition is looking good, Eastfield was one of the best sheds to get around and you often were given a member of staff to walk you around the depot if you asked nicely.

pfx that is absolutely fantastic.

I travel the 8 station shuttle service between Queens street and Anniesland often and you have made a superb job of that.

The scenery to the right is also accurate.....i have walked that twisting pathway on numerous occasions.......well done brilliant.

Quick edit.....the 4 in a block housing in the background is also spot on.

I've been hovering around the Wareham end for the past few days so here are a few more shots, these should appeal to those of you who like the '80s and remember taking such trains!

It's quite a severe curve, almost 90 degrees:

The tedious job of adding scenery continues, more buildings appearing in the Springburn area. Urban modelling is not fun.

An 'Dutch' Class 26 heads a short ballast train onto the Edinburgh Glasgow mainline destined for who knows where.

Very much a work in progress screenshot, this shows an overall shot of Eastfield and Springburn. For those who are familiar with Glasgow, this should now be looking recognisable. I got the local Polis to clear the drunks out the park before taking it.

When I look back at this, given the massive number of hours spent on it, it's a little disheartening to see how little of the area has been covered. I'm going to have to ignore more outlying scenery or we'll be on TRS 2050 by the time I get finished.

Cheers,
Innis

Excellent work pfx.

Balgrayhill is easily recognisable and you've captured the look of the Carron scheme over to the right.
Also see the bridge going over Hawthorn street to the extreme right.

Excellent work.

Surveyor 2.0 might help you out Innis. The new scrapbook feature has made it a lot quicker to produce a fairly detailed urban scene, such as this one around Bexleyheath station in SE London:

Thanks for the suggestion Paul, the results look good, however I don't have access to Surveyor 2.0. Am I correct in thinking it requires a subscription and/or TRS22? I have no current plans for either if so. My alternative is once a half mile or so out from the track, I use copy/paste just to give the sense of urban area rather than blank baseboards.

Cheers,
Innis

You'll be right about that, but as someone that has been hoping for improved copy/paste functions for years, for me this feature was a big selling point and am not regretting my TRS22 subscription so far.

Cheers,
Paul

Surveyor 2.0 is certainly useful and a powerful tool with a lot of potential, although it is a steep learning curve.

Great shots on here recently. @Paulper, which streetlights are you using in your evening scene above?
