I don't think they're removable. I certainly haven't linked to Imageshack on purpose
If somebody could please explain how to get rid of the hyperlinks, then I'll happily remove them

It's really simple, simpler in fact not to include code since oyu copy paste it in!

Bad:

By using the BBCode HTML syntax IMG only you'll make the world enjoy your images without dirty side effects, n'est-ce-pas?

What I don't understand is where people are getting their code from as none of the tags have any hyperlink / url code in them (not even hidden code that copies itself to your clipboard so you paste it without realising)

I do hate bbecause it's bloody pathetic but you haven't seen me telling people 'zomg chose something else' I have politely informed users who include URLs in their images that THAT is annoying.

This is supposed to be a thread for pretty pictures. All this discussion of hyperlinks and quoting is far more annoying than the (supposed) contraventions. Perhaps the easiest solution is to put Captain Scarlet AND Overmars in the ignore list.

Sorry guys, but maybe someone should redirect someone.

Greg, if you truely have a problem with certain tags becomming inbedded into an image, do not talk to the users about it, I suggest you talk to a moderator about it. Or drop a line to Alan and Lance about it at Helpdesk. (www.auran.com/helpdesk).


The fact is, people are going to keep posting images with tags in them, because quite simply, they cannot be bothered to spend the time, taking out the little URL tag, to be even worth the bother.
