Nexus, I can't PM you, but I would like to have your Class 465/6's. (Also, if I am alowed them, could I e-mail them to WarspiteWorks?)

Yes- I would like them- probably because at the end of my road the railway line goes past where the 466's rejoin the main line from the sheerness branch. I hear them squeaking round the curve all day.

The life of 43080

On a very snowy day, with a Valenta engine and in InterCity livery 43080 hits 125 mph bound for Newcastle.

On a rainy 12 September 2000 a Virgin liveried 43080 arrives at Redditch bound for Llandudno.

Now with an MTU engine (and with buffers which were installed in 1991, removed by Virgin and re-instated with Grand Central) 43080 arrives at Redditch Central destined for London KX.
Hopefully, if I can get it working, a BR Blue and grey shot will come.

Great shots all :D
Just one from me:
A 67 hauls a class 470 away for repairs (the pantograph failed so the unit can't move under its own power)

This is your version of it, we're talking about, isn't it? The real thing has never had it's buffers removed and replaced by Grand Central........

what platforms are you using Nexus?

Jamie

Platform edge - Southern precast kuid:45317:101809 on the DLS
Platform edge - Southern precast yellow stripe kuid:45317:102514 on the DLS

It's not finished yet , Hence the fact it was in the distance in the screenshot so that the rivet counters couldn't claw all over it .
When it's completed it will be up on the DLS , Not sure when that will be as I've got the route and a few other things to try and get finished first .

Has there been an act of vandalism on that 470? :hehe:

How many more nicknames are we going to think of for these sort of people: rivet counters, gimme pigs - the list goes on...

Umm, I'm not really sure what happened there. I haven't done anything to it (I assume you mean the weird black lines on the TSOL?). The lines just appeared on it one day:confused:

Just a couple more from me

I came over all 'Southern-ey': A 477/1 approaches Lewiston:
