UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

Contrast time! This post will depict my two sessions on my WIP route, some during Network SouthEast days and some in 2012.

2012 First

89014 (Renumbered from the unlucky 89001) has been restored and leased to Virgin. Here it hauls a rake of MK3's with DVT.

Racing each other with empties, 59001 Yeoman Endeavour pulls ahead of 60029 Clithroe Castle.

An unnumbered FCC Class 321 heads to the depot for a refurb.

Here 477030 Spirit of Chichester (remember it?) fresh from the depot with 477001 Cakeham Tower. These have recieved their C1 overhaul (and 477030 got its new electrical equipment) as well as new called MagnaCouple which is a magnetic coating on the gangways which allows units to connect without ugly couplers. All 477's bar the 477/2's and 477036 & 037 (which haven't done the required mileage for a C1 and were already fitted with MagnaCouple) will receive the C1's and MagnaCouple.

313044 prepares to join the ECML with a service to Welwyn Garden City.

11 Car Pendolino unit pauses at Wendover.

1993 Now

A Class 101 slows on its run into Wendover. This train was used on the Wendover to Kewbury-Le-Mont shuttle. That line was un-electrified beyond Murray. The branch is now electrified. These have been replaced by FCC 313's.

A Class 87 with MK2's. This train was bound for Stafford. It originated at Watford. Euston was closed that month for upgrades. This unit soldiered on into 2005 being used by Virgin, until the arrival of Pendolino's on that route saw it being withdrawn. It is now preserved.

2 321's operate a service to Black Square. This unit is now operated by London Midland, and Black Square station has closed.

The Class 151 being used by NSE at the time. (It was preserved in the earlier shot of it.) This is operating a stopping service to Aire, and ,somewhat confusingly, is incorrectly displaying a destination of Chichester.

Diesels now only operate the un-electrified branchlines.

Hope you enjoyed my somewhat different take on screenshots.

Oh and great screenies nexusdj and Mightyena

P.S i had to chop a few pics and these will be posted later

A couple again from me.

The Class 357 that SxR hired from c2c. They have kept it for a few more months as the Class 477's are going for c1's.

Here, it pulls into Glauston International. It is actually still in c2c blue livery.

Well, here is that unit. 321412 pulls into Glauston International with a service to St Albans.

Here are those ones I chopped from the 1993 pics

A brand-new Class 158 pulls out of Murray

A claggy 141 operates the Kewbury shuttle. This ,like all other 141's, was sent to Iran but was brought back to the UK after a fire. it was cut up in 2001, after several attempts to restore and preserve it.

Yes James73! Nice screenies everyone. Oh, and WEN what is the different between your standard and MC versions of the 477.

Errm WEN, your MC 477 is showing up errors (unable to load meshes body, doorsleft and doorsright) because the entire 'DMSO body' folder is empty!

Thank you for that, I think I know why, the folder seems to not be copied over from the external hard drive. :S I'll have to try again as its happened to something else as well.
