I know a few of the more prolific ones (who also did content creation) drifted away for various reasons. This thread used to be one of the most active on the screenshot forum.I'm thinking maybe there are less British players now, I mean my forums have been very quiet this year with hardly any new posts, apart from the odd spam one, from users who have never posted anything and registered years ago. So those get banned or deleted altogether.
Hello fromFrance , same in french fora... But maybe the real reason is in N3V Games policy, with a lot of versions and bugs ... I know a lot of friends who created for Trainz , and changed for other simulators , with less problems... And better consideration for customers.I suspect some of the more active ones have died COVID took a few, or faded away. There are one or two new ones though.
Cheerio John
What are DCLs?Really random question... I've looked on the DLS and found quite a few AOCL signals but can't actually see any DCIs. Do any of them actually exist in game?
DCIs - Driver Crossing Indicators. They basically do what AOCLs do but for gates that have a full barrier. There's one at Watford North on the Abbey line. It's red whilst the gate is open, then when the barrier closing procedure has completed it turns to white. What are DCLs?
There are, they are called AOCL Monitor Light LHS (ATLS) and RHS (ATLS). they work with the ATLS level crossing system, when the crossing is activated the barriers go down, and the monitor light starts to flash white, it is basically a signal, and flashes white instead of showing green.DCIs - Driver Crossing Indicators. Yeah that's what I was using anyway, but I was wondering if there was one similar to the one at Watford North, but it's alright - the ones you've suggested (and other ATLS enabled ones) work fineThere are, they are called AOCL Monitor Light LHS (ATLS) and RHS (ATLS). they work with the ATLS level crossing system, when the crossing is activated the barriers go down, and the monitor light starts to flash white, it is basically a signal, and flashes white instead of showing green.
