UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

Unfortunately my computer isn't a super duper gaming rig, it's more of 3 year old desktop jobby from PC world so it cannot produce the amazing screenshots like the ones previous but I hope these'll do. Having the shadow setting set to high nearly made it blow up.

Now to the summer of 1988 on the Central London Line.

Hi Harcourt, pleased to see you still around. Not been doing anything with TRS12 for quite some time as I had hard-drive failure. Took the drive out and stuck it in a caddy and have managed to rescue my County of Lincolnshire map as of yesterday. Today I've just been reworking Skegness into the '60s.
Thanks Dave, I couldn't tell you half of where my Trainz stuff is, such is the time span since I last booted it up! I see you've not lost your route building skills, nice shots! :)

Not posted in a really long time, so I thought I'd share an update:

A pair of failed Class 477s sit on approach to Lydhedge Interchange Station awaiting rescue after the Automatic Dropping Device activated on both units. At least it made it to the signal.

Does anyone know how I can get hold of Wessex Electrics Nutter about letting me reskin his lovely 477? I'd like to be able to start getting a consistent livery across all the trains.

Evening all,

Just a few from me tonight. I've decided to continue building the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway in TANE, and as a result have further decided to rebuild Winchcombe station. Here are a few progress shots below, well, one is. The other two are just of random bridges along the route so far.

Thanks Harcourt.

Well done all. Firsby, Lincolnshire TS12 and Firsby, Lincolnshire, for real (or I should say, as it was).

More interested in a pair of 20s than a pair of legs. Either that or he's thinking about his flat tyre. 20s leaving Wainfleet for Skeggvegas.

Nice to see those bridges... Looking even better than I thought

They're amazing, thank you very much for making them! I use them in all the routes I make, they look brilliant and really enhance the route.
Many thanks,

@escafeld- good to see you posting again.

Been working on the rural side of my one board model railway route. HF3 shadows really good now:

And playing around with post-processing settings:

Got a slight issue with the smoke from Lielestosbrat's otherwise superb N2 not lining up with the chimney- anyone else experiencing this? is it an HF3 bug?

Absolutelly fantastic Rumour3!
Excuse me for being that guy but, I just made the jump over to T:ANE, could you please direct me to where you got these trees from?
And the PP settings, if that isnt asking too much.
Apologies again, I know this is a screenshot thread.

Thanks! The trees are all on the dls- there's loads of high quality T:ANE compatible SpeedTrees with names beginning 'st_rmm'. The post-processing settings are found on the 'Developer' menu of the settings window, accessible from the Launcher. Unfortunately the game doesn't remember manual pp settings between sessions so I can't tell you exactly what I did, but it was a combination of 'sharpen' (found in the 'convolution' menu- where else?!), SSAO, and one of the HDR tonemapping options. I also customise the environment colours to get darker shadows.

HI R3. Beautiful work and fantastic pics!

Your smoke chasing chimney problem is not just an HF3 issue. It has been with T:ANE from the beginning.

It gets better or worse depending on the cpu/gpu load.

Cheers

Hi Dave,

If that was me on the tractor in the '80s - then, I'd be more interested in the pair of 20s; now, I'd be more interested in the pair of 20s; in-between it might have been different...

Hi R3 thanks for the comment. If you place a loco in Surveyor and then reverse its direction that can cause the anomaly. Try introducing it again, but first check if the track is running in the correct direction. If it isn't just add a spline point and then delete it, this reverses the direction. You might need to replace/move signals and points afterwards. Amazing screenshots you have there.
