Just ordered the Tornado 2 Pack (Apple Green and Works Grey With Headboard). I haven't seen any blue Tornado there.

Camscott doesn't have Tornado in BR Blue (or BR Green), You will have to buy one of his BR Blue A1s and use the blue body textures from that.

This my rendition of Tornado in BR Blue using camscott's model. I've made a few embellishments to the smoke box door i.e. metallic grey fittings and shed plate. I used one of camscotts A1s in br blue to get the boiler/cab colours, it was more or less a straight texture transplant in to the LNER green model.


I agree, I think BR Blue is best for Tornado, LNER Apple Green is a very insipid colour.

Very Nice Rob. Yes, I have been looking for the part to repaint the smoke box hinges etc, but haven't located where it is yet. I haven't done any work on it recently and need to get in and finish it. Actually seeing that blue, it doesn't look as dark as I thought. it looks good. And you have a lamp on the front? Very nice, congrats.

Hi Paul, thanks for that, Yes, I found those and grabbed them the other day, much nicer and with commonwealth bogies. Yep, it looks pretty sweet now.

With only a month to go until the end of the franchise, FCC have started to paint some of their 313s into TSGN colours. Please note this reskin is for my personal use only and I don't plan on releasing it.

Fast forward to the present day, Alexflemings reskin of TSGN liveried Class 319, arrives at Aldwych.

I'm dissatisfied with the current cabs used in the 313s so I've decided to make my own, please note the cab is far from finished, the textures are still quite rough and the dials still need sorting.
