UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

Fantastic screenies all. Nice Class 110 there too.

Great to see some of my work still in use.

Yes, I know, I've not posted in a LONG time, those of you know me on Facebook have known how much of a change my life has been in the last year and as a result, my Trainz work has completely suffered.
For those that don't know, I've gone from a work experience programme with Southern (for 4 weeks), to agency work with South West Trains at Haslemere doing just 2 hours in the morning, then to a 10 hour contract with South West Trains perminately at the same place, now to a 24 hour contract with South West Trains at Guildford on the gateline as I am a gateline assistant and I've clocked up so far, 5 stations where I've worked, one isn't even gated (Godalming) and added to that, I've ended up engaged and boy do ladies suck time. Great in one way, not in another, (added to that, I've been doing mainly mechanical work on my cars recently, I've now got to the point where I won't/can't touch 2 of them, the 2 Espaces I brought!)

However, more recently, going to and from Godalming, so I can use the trains, I went back to this. Oddly, none of my colleagues or managers know what I do in my spare time. They know I am a train enthusiast, they know I do 3D work, but they don't know what.

Heres CC3's pantograph, I've been referencing a tram pantograph to get it to look right (As there is little photos or reference on the pantographs and interiors for that matter).

I'm guessing they're retextured payware by perchpole, that aren't available anymore. Maybe even the models by greeni that were never released that he allowed a few people to beta test. I would guess though they are the perchpole ones.

Yes it's a class 110 DMU from Greeni's workshop currently on test ;)

Peaks are Perchpole's Payware versions , with altered textures by myself with permission from Perchpole .
I would of liked to have retextured the S&C peak into BR blue (the config license allows reskins) but it's been locked down in the latest version of TS12 so it cant be cloned :(

Great shots all :D

Haven't got round to electrifying the route yet, still trying to figure how all the catenary bits go together :D

If I remember right, the original author didn't consider putting it into blue initially and designed the mapping with just the green in mind, therefore a reskin wouldn't work properly, anyway.

Actually, it could, if it takes place in the Rail Blue era, but before the TOPS period.

Oh my holy goodness
I decided to look at some old screenshots on this thread and I came across a picture on my old account of one of my first reskins.
(Still recovering from shock and wondering why I even put it online nevermind let it plague my hard drive)
What is it even? A 319?

On another note is this the correct setup of a the average two track catenary?

Thanks,

Looks spot on to me, Victorian :) Fantastic work, and loving the 350 too. I really don't mean to sound like a gimme pig here, however I was just wondering if the 350 will be released? I currently have Nexus' fantastic one, but one with an interior would also be wonderful (although I have noticed, there's no pan on it! :p)

Often when I have seen the High speed mk1 catenary, the "pylons" face the same way on each gantry, although they alternate direction on successive gantries - the situation I think can be different on sharp bends. I may be completely wrong though since I am not 'au fait' with electrification.

Thanks :D If it goes well I may release it as part of the Crewe-Liverpool pack, I want it to be spot on though and I don't think I have the skill for that just yet lol :D
And thanks nexusdj I'll be looking into that soon :D
Another thing I've been working on, don't want to show to cab yet as it looks horrendous at the moment, and still deciding whether to make it a 321 or 319

(Ignore the mini Armageddon going on in the sky texture, still working on it)

And where does this information come from? Have you tried this or is it just speculation?

I suspect that the problem may be around the yellow ends.

Hmm, not entirely a problem:

Not perfect: couldn't work out the lamp irons which are still blue on the nose and of course the pesky plane on the front ends for the D-series numbers (which is why the BR logos are set too low). But I agree that a pre-TOPS versions should work.

More from my central London, thameslink style route, I still need to think of a decent name for it.

A Class 313 runs up the incline between Holborn and Aldych.

A GBRF Class 73 in BR Blue hauls a Network Rail, sandite Class 419 through Aldwych Station. The Class 419 is an early reskin of mine and I may update it soon, as I think the livery is rather over saturated.

Little tip for y'all, don't drink a double of whisky whilst route building on trainz, I would've posted some screenies on my progress on the Waterloo East section of the line had I not opened up the autosave version of the route instead of the actual version and then forgotten to save two hours worth of work.

A little fictional route I've started making inbetween doing the Crewe-Liverpool route
A line based on the Seaford & Newhaven branch in Sussex, but a bit more mainline-ish
