UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

@StationMistress Ohh I feel quite proud! I'm afraid I never really look at the author of any thing I download unless it's something specific, but I never knew you made them! They are fabulous though :) By the way it's 'Stenstone', but anyways :hehe:

@Snakelight64 Wow, that will be amazing when it's all finished. Lol I can't wait!

@Uracco
That Monorail scene looks great!

I'm taking a break from Stenstone and Antonbury and rebuilding an old route of mine. Anyone who remembers some of my older posts's will probably remember London Malvern Street and Meridian Trains. I lost all of my work in a computer transfer, but I have now rebuilt the station (with an equally amazing roof
:hehe:), and they've gone 3rd rail! :D

Malvern Street itself. If it were real, it would be just next to Aldgate.

And one of their new Class 508's. This one is a special 12 car service, put on to handle larger crowds for the Olympics.

Looks good:D, I liked the original Malvern Street route too. Just a thought, have you considered using 3rd rail splines with plain track on junctions? I must admit, I do prefer overhead routes but this is looking great!

I never thought i'd see screenshots of my route in use by other users! This is a nice surprise, I assume it downloaded correctly?
Some shots from me.

I'm surprised no one has noticed what's uploaded to my website yet or even posted a screenshot:

EDIT: Just be warned, there are a number of errors to fix and it may kill your PC, comments are very much appreciated however.
If you wondering how long its been there, since Sunday afternoon, I was expecting someone to be pretty quick and go "OMG, OMG!!! I GOTTA DOWNLOAD IT...!!!!"

Which one?

Angela

Only just seen your post. Have download it but have a number of missing dependencies <Kuid 30051:1138> <Kuid 30051:54000> <Kuid2:75134:15042:1> <Kuid2:75134:15038:1> <Kuid2:75134:15037>

75134s should be somewhere on the DLS I think,
1138 is the 477 engine spec http://www.wessexelectricnut.co.uk/wip/trainz/Fictional/
54000 is the electrostar horn: http://www.wessexelectricnut.co.uk/wip/trainz/Components/ (yes I know, I was trying to make it work out the box, it sort of failed though)

I never rode on these units, but that looks a very good mesh with nice textures WEN. It's great that you've done each car type too.

I can see you have quite a bit to do still, like animated wheels and so on, but you might like to look at andi06's LT D stock for the latest way of setting up superscript. By the way I don't envy you sorting out all those passenger attachment points......

Is it just me or is there something wrong with the 477 engine spec? When I use it, the enginesounds on the 477 don't play, but work fine if I swich the enginespec out to say, the BR 100mph EMU spec. Is it just me or has anyone else noticed this?

502 looks really good though! :D

Nice unit WEN- like the posts above I'm having trouble getting the DTS showing in TS12 due to missing assets 75134:15037/38/42. Might these be from a payware Eldavo asset?

What happened to the alphanumbers, I thought you had these licked after last time ;)

I suspect 30051:5400 is a typo in some of the configs as the hornsound is listed as 30051:54000 in others and these show OK.

My own advice would be to steer well clear of superscript, you see the problems the last update caused to lots of Andi06 and third party assets. zxr400's script can probably do everything you need and that's the one I'll be sticking to for any future units. At least the core code can't be messed with to damage any content as it's self contained in the asset itself.

Good question, I didn't think I had any payware in, I'll double check the KUIDs.
As for the last one, yes, I did, its on another hard drive as the 1TB the first started failing, then the 1TB the second started failing as well, so I'm on a 250GB drive for the time being, which meant I am on an eariler revision for my stuff, which also meant I've lost a little work and I've to sort it all over again.

EDIT: Corrected it and reuploaded it, so everything SHOULD work out the box.
EDIT 2 of 1000 edits: What DMBS is everyone using? The high or low detail ones? I'm interested to find out to see if the high detail one or uber high detail one was really worth the effort.

Theres more passenger points to come. :-) I usually use up ALL the space I can fill up with passengers, thats why the Class 477 takes an unrealistic 188 passnegers as it is possible, just breathe in. I'd love to see how much more PIXC an electrostar can take, which then can be used as a basis to make the loadings more realistic. Its probably possible to have a train working at 140 or even 160% of the capacity if there is room for everyone.

However, one problem, getting the time to actually do something, with my latest toughbook obsession, which is a type of computer I've always wanted (Panasonic Toughbook, new ones are like £4k a piece because they are designed to withstand everything and still look pretty much brand new.), as well as having a car thats a great alarm clock at the moment, so is the new dog.. (ARRGHHH), its all zapping my energy to do anything.

I'll have to look into that, I've personally had no problems though, but the speed of the engine sound is tied to the train speed, so the 100mph sound may make it sound like it actually is going faster, because the maximun speed of when something will top out at, will probably be a bit higher than 100mph, try 110mph for example.

PIXC = Passengers In eXcess of Capacity.
