UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

TSR boards are already available . Search for TSR or user "GreatEastern" on the DLS (make sure to tick Service pack 3).

Not sure on the temporary AWS magnet . Bloodnok has a working permanent AWS magnet . The script could be used to make a working temporary version . I'd have to track down some suitable dimensions to build it .

EDIT : Found some , quick search on google threw up a suitable site . You've got to love the internet ;)

Hey guys,

I'm back to Trainz 2010 after what must be at least a year or two.

It puts a big grin on my face to see you veterans are still here ( *cough*Nexusdj to name but one ;) ) and that there are lots of new faces here too, and the screenshots you've been putting up are all brilliant. Fabulous work!

 :Y:

Great shots everyone!

Some from Cornwall's most scenic line - The St Ives Branch :D

Well done Mark. Carbis Bay is easily recognisable. St Erth to St Ives is one of my favourite railway journeys. In that bottom shot I can almost see my bosses flat overlooking the bay!

Great shots everyone. Question for Nexusdj how do you make the platforms thin the thick then thin again like the platforms at Par and Sheffield (Or if anyone else knows tell me please!). And the little like tiling things (spline, Yeah?) on Nexus' Voyager shot at the side of the track

Thanks Bah2

Argh! My attempt at re-skinning didn't save. Ah well brighten my mood HST time now. A Midland Mainline HST pulls in at Arlthorpe International. Does anyone think this looks like York a little with the roofing and curves?

Oh, and could anyone re-skin me (if you have free time of course) a Mk2 into Yorkshire Rail (my custom one) White all of it. 3 purple lines going through it both sides. And Yorkshire Travel on it somewhere both sides in the "Corbel" font on both sides in purple italic and bold.

Thanks Bah2

Responding to nexusdj's call for posts...

A class 31 hauls a rake of VDAs from Lenwade through a summer downpour towards Wroxham, shortly before the complete closure of the line.

Cracking shot rumour3. Is the vegetation FMA or JVC? I think it's the FMA splines that have a really bad draw distance which is a pity as I'd love to use them more as trackside growth. Although I know it can be changed, as the route is for upload, I need to use whatever is on the DLS without being modified.

Hi Trainzers,

I'll post a screenshot later. But I thought i'd tell you guys that I have requested a name change on Auran. If it happens you will see that my name has changed from Bah2 to Trainzinator. Can anyone post a station map of Down Street tube station as I am creating a simple disused route with one track running through it. Starting at Down Street then going to fictional overground stations. The stations are called from Down Street, Arvington, Talbot Square, Northam, Barton Lane and lastly Grashley. Sorry if i've bored you. Also great shot Rumour3.

Bah2 (Trainzinator)

Hi, EdwardandThomas10

Yeah you can go onto the Auran helpdesk and log in and submit a new ticket. In the message just put

"This is a message for Zec"
"Hi, Zec I would like a name change if it possible from EdwardandThomas10 to (whatever you want). Then put email me (put your email adress).
Then put Thanks EdwardandThomas10

Then check your email and you should have a reply off Auran. What should say they are busy and will get back to you in the next 5 days.

No problem Bah2

No problem E&T10.
For now a Screenie. All of these are on the same line The first one is the Brightwater central to Arlthorpe International line via Hutley (The join up station) and the second one is Kilkness to Arlthorpe International via Hutley.
A Evening Star leaves Brightwater Central from platform 9 on an Pullman express service to London Kings Cross.

A Wessex Trains 158 leaves the seaside resort of kilkness on a nice summers day by the beach :)

No insult to Marky but it is a bit boring that you can't rename his station buildings. Im using the Liskeard one

Thanks Bah2 (Trainzinator)

Thanks pfx and bah2

The wheat and grass splines are all JVC, and aren't too bad in terms of performance, although I've only used a single wheat spline immediately next to the rails- the rest of the field is a texture. I might add more on a 'super detail' layer later, but the effect works OK from cab views and close to the trains.

I've used FMA embankments and bridges extensively, but have never really got on with their grass- it looks fantastic at close range but I have never managed to get a satisfactory blend with underlying textures to avoid the effect of it dropping out of view too quickly.
