UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

Great shots everyone!

Some from the Cornish village of St Germans:

This building on the down platform used to contain a signal panel, this has since gone, and signals in the area are now controlled by Plymouth signal box.

Mark, I really must say, to continue on a route so large for such a long time requires skill, patience, and most of all, commitment. You, sir, have them all, in there masses. :) Can't wait to download it as SOON as its avalible. Many thanks, Tom.

I second that. I have been following the progress map too and the route is looking fantastic. Will be really good to drive this route.

Mart.

A view on something I made quickly. 56 mins and this is how far I got. On and off of course and I was sad enough to time it. Just because I was curious.
spondonno1.jpg

Its Spondon no.1 based at the Coventry Railway Centre, overhead only (200v) although carries a battery tender these days I believe, 2x35hp motors and well, probably a perfect place for a preserved railway. And no, thats not my secret loco, that I plan to be something electric, but much bigger (still the same era).

I've not done much modelling in the past few weeks, as I have been doing overtime (thats not hte word) in a shop I work in as a volunteer. We are soo short staffed, its unbelieveable. But, its one of those ugly situations where no one wants to work for free, although you do gain some experience from working in the shop. The problem with me, I've been there 5 years, yet the even more ironic thing, I'm still not even given an interview. Go figure. Although, that may be to do with the fact of having a form of autisim, more than anything else and convey myself across to others.

(Well, technically speaking, its not true, I went for an assessment, interview and medical with a Train operating company, told I had the job in writing, but still waiting for a start date which may not happen at this rate and that was October last year.)

Hello Dave Nexusdj,

Sorry to bother you, and I hope you can help me, I noticed this superb screenshot of the MK2 Sleeper in the new Saltire livery (BELOW), and I was wondering is this coach along with the others in the consist going to be released onto the download station.

I already have one of them from the DLS which was made by yourself, which is superb and looks fantastic, I do hope First Scotrail release the livery for the sleepers as they do suit the coaches.

Many thanks for your valuable time...

WEN: not sure if this will appeal to you, but I heard (probably about 3-4 weeks ago) that CrossCountry have a few jobs spare (if your promised job falls through, and are willing to travel), however I'm not sure if they'll still have vacancy still.

Joe: That may be the HST set he is co-creating, so I suppose at some time it will be released onto the DLS.

Regards,
Phil

It's one of Peter's Mk2's . If I get chance this afternoon I'll get it packaged up and uploaded .

I've spent the morning adding another number to the Powerhaul 90 pack (90049) and packaging up the class 325 . Both now uploaded to the Auran and awaiting initial checks :)

Ahh, but XC operate nowhere near here. So I have either South West Trains, First Great Western or Southern. We can pretty much rule out FGW as I need to be trained as a guard or driver (I'd love that! :) )
So, depot or station work with SWT. I'm on the SWT/Southern border, so either company works. I applied for one at Brighton, but thats the one I've been waiting for. The most ironic thing is, I've been everywhere but where my job position actually is! And walking around a depot in london dressed in a grey suit and an orange jacket due to my no risk approach, is err, quite interesting, then I found out that the OJ wasn't needed. I still wore it, just incase.
