Yes it is Rock Ferry, from gparker's nice layout "the joint railway". The terminus line's of the former Mersey Railway. If i remember correctly the station had 6 platforms 4 through (fast & slow),& 2 terminal + 1 stabling siding.

Very realistic shots everyone! :D

Three more from the Glynn Valley .. The view from the viaducts get better as you climb up towards Doublebois.

A Crosscountry Voyager crosses the Clinnick Viaduct, the houses in the background are located in the hamlet of Two Waters Foot.

Shortly after FGW took over the Franchise from Wessex Class 158s were being transfered to them from various bits of the country - An ex First Transpennine Express 158 crosses the Derrycombe Viaduct.

GlynnValley04.jpg

Between the Derrycombe and West Largin Viaduct a Penzance to Exter St Davids service passes, formed from a 150 and 153.

Great shots everyone! :D

Two more from the Glynn Valley, this time from the impressive 40m high Largin Viduct, this is one of the tallest viaducts in Cornwall, the tallest is less than a mile further east. The viaduct used to carry two track, but now only carries a single track, which runs through the centre. This was done to evenly spread the load of trains running across it.

GlynnValley06.jpg

A Virgin Super Voyager crosses the Largin Viaduct on its way to Penzance.

GlynnValley07.jpg

A three car First Great Western 158 crosses the viaduct, these are no longer seen this far west, and 150s and 153s now run all the local services.

Wow Nexusdj, is that buffet car part of the new HST consist which is soon to be released, if so, it's looking really stunning and seems to look more realistic than the Railwaves ones...

Just a tip though, a little bit of dirt and rust on the underbody part and were the bogies are, will give it a more used heavily look...

keep up the good work
