UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

Google Earth

detail in stuff like towns and rivers fields hills and tunnles especially tunnles

As you plainly are online then go have a look at Google Earth, just do a Google search and away you go. You will get an overhead view of towns and country all over England or anywhere else you wish. You will need to click the Aerial option to see detail.
It won't help you with tunnels however, but you can always go download a route or two and see how other people have tackled this problem.

Or you could go on this Maps site, only on major places will it let you have a birdseye view, try this, go to B'Ham new street for instance, hover your mouse over Arial, then choose Birdseye, you can get a much better view of station layouts from this site.

Oxtone

Great Pics All!

Some more from Stenston Junction. These shots were taken north of Stenston from the medieval town of Oxtone (built it today!) Still needs some more work, but I think it's going quite well.

PS: Emo, really like your route. But I've always wondered, what is it based on?

Faulty Trains and Rain

Just a few more, had an idea and had to get it done before I forget.

A broken down Virgin DVT is pulled through the station by 66515, its destination unknown....

Lol, just realised the rain doesn't show up in the picture!

Bernard430, a couple of tips:

It would be slightly better looking if you used Trainzmap to replace the default track with JosefPav's MP Track or Rumour3's Norfolk track (The choice of SI3D).

There is now a more up to date Class 66 on the DLS, by Rumour3.

Bricklehurst

Now even further towards Skegeness, but still a long way to go!

You might notice, that in picture 1, the barriers aren't down. BLAME VSR FOR THIS 'COS THAT'S WHERE I GOT THEM FROM

"Cover story" 10 families share there favourite memories all at this station, if its to do with love or the love of Trains in general.

ATLS

Barn700,

Use the ATLS assets, they work just fine on most any Xing and bridges.

Great shots everyone!

The end of the line has been reached ... Penzance! Well the station anyway, the town currently has no buildings
The track layout has been laid with planning portal images on basemaps, so is very accurate. Platform 1 and 2 can fit a full HST set.

A view of the trainshed with its arched roof. Note only half the powercar of the HST is under the roof, HSTs don't go under the roof.
