UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

Just a heads up - I've uploaded a new version of the buildings you've used. The concrete one in the middle is an alternative version, but the one with the blue panels under the windows is a kuid2. It has the same footprint, and a similar overall height, but it has an extra storey fitted into the same height. I realised that quite a few of my buildings were too tall, so I've been re-building the worst offenders. Where the new version has the same footprint I've obsoleted the old one.
There's one "Concrete Office 3" on the DLS, no newer KUIDs.

Awesome. My girlfriend goes to uni in Falmouth and when i'm down there I have to get the train on that branch, going between Truro and Falmouth also..

Will it be released? How much have you done?

The route will be released once its all finished, So far the Falmouth branch is done down to the northern tip of Falmouth.

I think lot of people will be glad to see this route when released, me included. Here's a few more of my route still WIP

There should be only one now - 134105:27051:1 it has obsoleted 134105:27051. The only major difference is that the upper portion has 4 3m high floors instead of 3 4m high floors. You'll just have to download the update and tweak the height hopefully. Where the footprint of a building has been affected, I've released a new version with -resized at the end of the name, and NOT obsoleted the old version, as I realised that it would affect the look of routes that referenced them.

Hopefully I haven't caused too much grief to route builders by clearing up my mistakes in this way...

Paul

p.s. an old one just 'cos it's a screenshots thread...

Looking good paul502

Just like to help by saying that if you attach the trackwork as I have done and use the straightening tool where the arrows show, the turn-out will be much smoother.

This shows where the loco will have a rough ride.

Yes, I noticed that. I try (not always successfully!) to get a nice curve off the main lines and then a straight feeder track to the siding spurs. It looks better and as said, the loco won't get a rough ride.
But this is a minor thing, just trimmings on the cake and not meant as a dig in the ribs, otherwise it's looking very good.

Thanks for the tip's, Escafeld, Angelah. I hadn't noticed that , still got lot's to learn. Will go over the route & correct any more dodgy point work.

No that's fine, a little height adjustment sorted it out. I have much harder things to reproduce in town than that, all the streets, most with trams will provide a challenge.

graffiti ideas!

does anyone have any suggestions about graffiti I should put on trainz because I am hoping to re-release a model by pikkabird (i have sent him an email asking for his permission!) with graffiti on so any suggestions are welcome!

Does anyone know where I could get some good quality freeware items for a dock ( static boats, walls, moorings E.T.C)

thanks,

Maddy25 has some nice dock platforms, and if you're building an old dock then pd1138 has some nice steam cranes you could download
:)

Hey Liam125, hows High Speed One coming along?
I've nearly completed the English side - just have to add some detail to Ashford International. I still need to do the French side up to Calais where High Speed 1 will join to the LGV Nord, which might take a few months
:)
I'll try to do some more on the High Speed 1 route over the summer holidays
