Hey There Everyone!

I am looking for a nice medium sized route that would be suitable to run mainline stock on eg. Voyager, Pendolino etc. and also stock such as your 156 or 142.

I know theres loads out there which fit the criteria but I dont want a route thats got a million and one assets... maybe one that can be made to work within 30-45 minutes?

Soooo... does anyone know of any?

Thanks!

PS: I highly respect route with alot of assets and I have several, I just want a download and go one! :p

Routewise, I think Rosworth Vale is still one of the best UK routes around and it's built in. I'm currently working on updates to it which, due to it's size, could be many months from completion. I hope to upload it on completion but that will depend on getting permission from the author.

So far, I've upgraded the track, most of the stations, the signalling, some of the industry, track objects and scenery textures. I'm still trying to decide whether to add electrification to the main line. I'm doing that all to be compatible with TS09 (run in compatability mode).

Track direction markers in Rosworth route

I have been using TS06 and TC3 for several years, but have only recently looked at the built in Rosworth Vale route. What I find is that the track direction markers seem to be set for driving on the Right Hand side. This seems odd for a British route. What's going on here ??

I'm now downloading the SP2 update version to see if it's different.

It's not on the DLS but you might want to try my West Highland 2 route, Crianlarich to Fort William. It's hosted over at Train-sim.com ( www.train-sim.com ). You will need to set up an account to download but it's free for non-premium service and unlike UKTS the only restriction on downloading is two files at a time and max 30 kb/s on each one. These days you can usually get in straight away without the "busy nodes" messages of yesteryear.

The route was built in 006 but works okay in 009 and 10. Once installed you will need to run CMP and get it to collect the dependencies from the DLS.

I hadn't noticed. I know there are a few sections with two way running but that wouldn't answer the question. Having removed the track, I have my own direction markers in so no problem there.

The route was built in the beta of TRS2004 and something happened with the code between beta and release that changed all the direction markers. I manually updated them all for the SP2 release, together with some sessions.
