I recently bought Trainz 2012 via steam it has build 61297. I downloaded Frankfurt U-bahn version 2.2.
When I want to drive all the lines from the A-strecke they with the exception of U9 spawn at and forgive me if I spelled the name wrong: Heddernheim. Which I believe is the depot, correct me if im wrong

I was wondering am I doing something wrong, or am I missing a file ? The rest spawn at their endstations (U4,U6,U7).
Hopefully can somebody help me please

Hi Batman2012,

Welcome to the Trainz forums and the very addicting Trainz world!

You are doing nothing wrong. I too have downloaded this really wonderful route, however, there appears to be some bugs in the sessions.

Many thanks for the welcome. :)
Ahh I see, cause I downloaded the 2.1 version just to check out if that worked, but also in that version it has the same spawnpoint as the 2.2 version :)
Is there a way (sorry im really a beginner in this) to still enjoy the routes without getting in trouble with the AI trains ? Cause I have tried to take over from a AI train but that didn't go so well at the end station. :)

There sure is...

Choose one of the running trains and you can ride along with the AI, or take over the operation of one of the non-functioning trains. For the script error regarding the missing driver image, click on more details and close the box. This will remove the message from the screen and allow you to enjoy the route.

If you want you can take this one step farther by editing the sessions. I suggest that you do this anyway to fix some missing destinations. Sadly I can't remember exactly where they are but they are track marks and begin with HO or HO something. The best way to find these is to ride along with a driver and see when he stops. Note the next track mark in line, and remove that from the queue.

I agree with you guys,... there are a few annoying little bugs on this layout. Because I liked the overall look of the layout, I did what John suggested and followed every line looking for bugs, and finally removed all the trams. In addition I changed many track-marks, re-set all the turnouts and added more portals to handle greater traffic. Now I can sit back on any tram and enjoy a really interesting layout. Heaps of fun. Remember one thing, none of us are perfect, so we make the most of what we've got and try to enjoy it.

Ill take a look in what I can do then. :) Im quiet new to this so I need to figure out what is possible in the trainz simulator. :) I mostly took over from the AI but at the end station it doesn't return back to where it came from. So that I found a bit annoying. :) Thank you for some of the suggestions. :) If I have any other questions, ill be sure to ask it here. :)

You have only scratched the surface with this program! :D I've been at it just over a decade and I'm still learning.Feel free to post questions... There are plenty of people here that can help you. I suggest that you check out the other forums such as Surveyors and Drivers where there are lots of tips on sessions and route building.

Hi Guys,

Ok I figured out where the bug is. Its at Miguel-/Adickesallee where they driver commands say all AI trains need to go to Drive to 2 HO. I was wondering, if I go to the edit session and change it to the right one, which I still have no idea which one I have to pick. :) Will that solve the issue, or should I completely delete it from the ai trains. :)

You found it... :)

If you look to the upper right corner on your screen while in driver you will see a speaker. Click on that and choose driver messages. This will open up a message queue, which is very useful while driving as it works sort of like the radio, and in there you'll see a message of "No path to destination".

You could try that and see if that fixes the problem. I didn't have the patience to do that and I deleted the track mark so the trains just pass by the platform. :)

I saw the msg, but I didn't know what to do after that. :) I decided to do your thing and remove drive to 2-HO of all AI drivers, with the exception of drive to H4-2-2 HO. :)

I solved the bug problem without letting the trams go past Miguel-/Adickesallee. :) The problem was trackpath Drive to 2-2-HO. :) You have to change all the AI path from 2-2-HO to H2-2-HO by going to drive to trackpath then the second H and H2-2-HO. After some testing trams will stop and go further towards Sudbahnhof. :)

The problem is you have to change that on all sessions of U1,U2,U3,U8,U9 so it takes some time to make the changes :)

Edit: scratch that: problem still is there even with H2-2-HO :/
